Exciting News: Introducing the Be a Tree Community Outreach Program!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Be a Tree program in our community—a globally acclaimed dog bite prevention initiative that has educated nearly 1 million children worldwide!

As a certified Be a Tree presenter, I’m bringing this engaging and interactive program to local schools, daycares, and youth groups like Boy and Girl Scouts. Designed for school aged children, the free program teaches essential skills to stay safe around dogs while fostering empathy and understanding for our four-legged friends.

Through fun, hands-on activities, kids become "dog detectives," learning to interpret canine body language and recognize when a dog may feel scared, stressed, or in need of space. By understanding how dogs communicate, children gain confidence in interacting with pets at home and in their community while reducing the risk of dog bites.

The program also promotes collaborative care by encouraging families and caregivers to support children in building stronger, safer relationships with their canine companions.
