🍁 Thanksgiving Pet Safety Reminder! 🍁
Our holiday plates may be yummy for us, but they can be trouble for our furry family members.

🚫 Skip the no-no’s: Turkey bones, onions, grapes/raisins, chocolate, and any rich or fatty foods.
✅ Safe alternatives: Plain veggies or a tiny bit of plain turkey breast make great pet-friendly treats.
🙅‍♀️ Friendly reminder to guests: No table scraps, no matter how cute the begging face is!

After the feast, double-check that leftovers and bones are thrown away safely. Pets are professional trash divers, and one curious sniff in the garbage can lead to serious tummy troubles.

What a perfect fall afternoon on the ! 🍂🐾
Thank you to everyone who came out for yesterday’s Pawsitive Connections Society walk — the weather was gorgeous, the pups were happy, and the company couldn’t have been better.

A very special thank you to Samantha and John for leading the walk and teaching us about the history and beauty of this trail. Your time, knowledge, and kindness made this walk extra meaningful for all of us.

We’re already planning our next visit — including upcoming trail maintenance dates, where trail users (that’s us!) can give back by helping clean up and care for this beautiful space we’re lucky to enjoy.

Please remind your kiddos to ask before petting a dog.

A lot of children went right in to pet Betty last night during trick or treating. She was so sweet and calm, but she’s hard of hearing and her eyesight isn’t the best—and not every dog will respond the same way.

As a Dog Bite Prevention Specialist, I can’t say this enough:
A simple “Can I pet your dog?” keeps both kids and pups safe.
