It's National Pet Travel Safety Day!

🐶 Make sure that your pet is used to travel! If they are traveling for the first time, try to make the experience as stress free as possible! Bring out their crate a few days before to let them get acquainted with it before loading them into the crate in the car.

🐾 Stop for frequent breaks! Our manager loves stop at the Love's stations along her trips on the Interstate! They have pet specific areas for your furry friends to do their business and stretch their legs!

🐱 Make sure your pet is mircochipped and that your information is up-to-date should your pet make a grand escape!

🐾 Make sure your pet has a collar with an ID tag with up-to-date information as well as a leash to ensure you can safely remove your pet from your vehicle.

🐶 Don't leave your pet unattended in your vehicle, especially when it is hot outside. If you do have to leave them in the car on a cool/cold day, make sure you are parked close to the store's entrance for a quick exit.
