Welcome to Columbia Veterinary Hospital, Astoria's beloved walk-in and low cost clinic focused on the best care for your pet at a price you can afford! Dr. Larry Goza started this practice over 30 years ago with a focus on the human animal bond instead of dollar signs, and we are continuing his legacy. Our office is first come first served unless there is an emergency or euthanasia. We schedule su

rgeries and dentals but everything else is walk-in. The scheduled surgeries are dropped off in the morning between 8-9am (on empty bellies!) and are picked up later in the afternoon. Our vets start seeing clients at 9am, we break for lunch to catch up on things between 12 and 1:30, then close for the day at 5:30. Because we never know who or what is coming through the door sometimes if our line is getting too long we end up needing to cut off the line and have people come back after 1:30 or the next day. It is always ok with us to call and get an idea of what the day is looking like. We have several veterinarians who offer a variety of services from wellness check ups to major surgery. Our goal is to give your pet the best quality of life possible without breaking your check book. We value our customers and strive to provide the best care possible. We look forward to helping your furry friends!

We understand money is tight for all, but if you can help in any way, we surely would appreciate it and the family you help would be grateful. Can you believe it?! It is that time of the year where our wonderful clients help us help other families who may be struggling this year. Please help us make this year special for all young children and drop off toy(s) at our location in Astoria. We are going to have a box in our lobby soon until Nov 5th.

Heads up!
Columbia Veterinary Hospital will be having an off-site team continuing education event this Monday afternoon 9/9/24. Our walk-in availability will be extremely limited to the morning only. During the afternoon our veterinarians will not be available for our usual services.
Surgeries/dentals that are already scheduled are still planned as usual with afternoon pick ups between 3-5pm. This is thanks to our previous vet tech and friend Desiree who is enjoying an afternoon back in the clinic (thanks a million Des!!)

Normal hours and availability will be back to normal on Tuesday 9/10.

Hello to all of our wonderful clients! We are now joining KGW School Supply Drive to help families in this difficult time of year with school supplies. You may drop off supplies at our location (576 31st St in Astoria). Please know in advance that any item you can donate is immensley appreciated!

We are excited to announce we are beginning to schedule appointments this week for our downstairs clinic starting August 6th, 2024. We will be able to do exams, nail trims, clean ears, and vaccines.

Our appointment clinic will be 8a-4p every Tuesday. We are in the process of getting a different phone line and currently have an email that you may use to set up your appointment. We look forward to seeing you and your pet(s)!

Our next walk-in vaccine clinic will be in our downstairs office on Saturday, March 23rd from 1:30-4:30 pm.

There is no need to line up early, we will get you in as long as you arrive before 4:30 pm.

Flea medication and other products will be available. All flea products purchased in the vaccine clinic will be 10% off! 🐶🐕

New patients are welcome! 🐈‍⬛🐈

It helps us to keep the line moving quickly when new patient information is given to us ahead of time. If you plan to bring a new patient to the vaccine clinic, please email [email protected] :)

New pets will have a new patient exam before being vaccinated. Any health concerns will need to be addressed with an additional visit.
