Welcome to StoneyCreek! My goal is to help you find your next family member. My love for terriers came from my father. He asked me to help him find one.
Whether you hunt, want a companion, or are looking for you next go buddy, I feel very confident that we can help you find what you are looking for. He is an avid hunter and always had one or two rat terriers, fox terriers, or Jack Russell crosses running around the property. There is something special about this group of dog that is intelligent, funny, and tough, all wrapped up in a little ball of
spitfire. Seven years ago he was ready to add another terrier to the farm. After researching different breeders we found the Decker Terrier lines. We were both intrigued to find a larger size terrier than we were used to. He decided to purchase two females from Lil Ranchin Rat Terriers. We drove down and picked out two. I was hooked on these incredible dogs. I was ready to add my own Decker to my family a few years ago. I wanted a go dog… put him in the truck, go hiking, go to the beach, go one a bike ride, all while being happy, yet protective of my family and me. I found Goose two years ago from BriarBey Decker and Old Dominion Terriers. When he arrived I knew he was something special. He was everything I wanted. He is driven, protective, and truly loves his people. I could not be happier with this handsome boy. We are adding three females to the pack this year; one Decker and two Old Dominion Terriers. Deckers and ODTs have an intelligence to them to where they read their people. They look into your eyes to try and see what you want from them. They aim to please. They are big, beautiful, and have a personality to match. They are happy to be hunting one minute and hanging out on the couch with the family the next.
Can’t forget about our older girls. Lil Ranchin Kimber and Lil Ranchin Kinzee.

I had high hopes for Goose and Echo to frolic through brush hunting squirrels together, but it was short lived. 90+ degree heat changed to wanting to play in water and roll on the green grass or cool bellies on the shaded concrete.
BriarBey's Goose and BriarBey's Echo of Elora will be paired together in the next couple weeks! If everything goes to plan pups will be due beginning of December, and go to new homes beginning of February.
I have one spot open to reserve a female.
This is a litter to watch! I do not know what colors to expect! Tuxes, piebalds, black/tan/white, black/white, and red sable/white. We will see.
Puppies will be registered with the Old Dominion Terrier club of America.
Goose is a Decker and Echo is an ODT.

I went out to my folks yesterday to let Goose run around with Echo and had to give some snuggles to one of my favorite boys! StoneyCreek’s Mr. Wilson really is turning into a hunk. He’s over 21” at the shoulder now and around 40lbs.
Wilson is Rue’s full brother out of BriarBey’s Goose and Lil Ranchin Kimber.
You want to know what is funny about making plans for breedings… Mother Nature.
Apparently since I wanted to make plans to breed Rue, Javelina decided to come back into heat EARLY and Echo is probably a week behind based on the signs she is showing us!
To honor those that have been waiting the longest, we will skip this cycle with Rue and move forward with Javelina and Goose and Echo and Goose! Winter is going to be busy.
Puppies should be born mid November for Javelina and most likely beginning of December for Echo.
I have availability on Echo’s list. Please let me know if you are interested.

SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Miss Rue will be meeting a new fella in September/ October.
StoneyCreek’s Rue will be paired with Lil Ranchin OG.
I’m so greatful to Bridget at Lil Ranchin Rat Terriers for this collaboration.
If all goes to plan, these pups will be due November/ December and go to their new homes January/ February.
This is a Decker litter and will be registered UKC Rat Terriers.
Lil Ranchin OG is around 17” at the top of the shoulder and 40lbs.
StoneyCreek’s Rue is 19” at the top of the shoulder and 31lbs

Everyone has been asking about updated photos on miss Maggie! From puppies leaving before summer to having my boys home and doing ALL THE THINGS, I finally had the time. Westside Deckers Magpie is a fan favorite over here. She is maturing beautifully and we are loving her.

This boy has an outstanding personality. He is the bubbliest alfa male pup I've had in a litter. He throws his weight around, but is a sweetheart at the same time. I have my eye on him for the future and can't wait to see how he matures.
