23 years ago today, I was on my way to work and heard on the radio, that a plane hit one of the towers, at first I thought it was a very sick joke, when I arrived I turned on the TV and saw the second tower hit. my knees almost gave way as I watched in horror realizing our country was under attack. This memory will never leave me. I will never forget.
Where were you on that horrific day? feel free to tell your story in the comments. We all need to keep all the people, their families, and first responders who suffered and died in our prayers today and we must never forget.

Happy Anniversary Honey Bear, You have been my Love, my life, my companion, and my soul mate, we are together for better or worse in sickness and health til God takes us home, and no matter what outside forces have tried to divide us we still stand together in unity. Welcome to Griffin's Mountain High Emotions, born at 6:30 PM 4/28/22 It was a hard delivery for Fancy, I stayed by her and helped her along, Poor girl was so exhausted after the birth, that the baby wouldn't suckle at first. I had to milk her out and feed little Emo and he seemed to get a lot stronger. I am sleeping in the barn to keep a close watch. He is an active little guy and finally, at 3:45 he realized the landing gear was down and started to drink. Fancy is a good mom and is telling him this is where it's at kid. It is now 4:10 AM and my tooshie is freezing. Time to go in the house for more hot coffee. All for the Love of my babies.

When I was a kid, my Mom would always tell me to go take a shower you stink like horses when I would get home from the barn, I would tell her, it's the sweet smell of success lol.... she would just laugh and say- go take a shower! ROFL... She didn't have a clue of how good I was feeling with my horse. I still hold that love and feeling about horses and the barn

Something more to worry about in CA. This is some serious crap going around, use caution when traveling with your horses.

As many of you may be aware, The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has confirmed multiple cases of Equine Herpes Virus across California. Take a look at the graphic below for more information on this disease and the current outbreal. There are several useful resources on the CDFA's website in their Animal Health and Food Safety Services section as well!
