Remember Pork Chop Annie "Annie"? She has been in our care at TDN for over a year. She will be with us for the rest of her life with her permanent foster! She is over 13 years old and thriving! We are so happy to have her and grateful for her foster for letting her live out her best years with her!

Our warrior Alice gets discharged either Monday or Tuesday! This is AMAZING news❤️ The power of prayer, amazing veterinary teams at Veterinary Emergency Group in Alpharetta and University of GA, and support from this community created something nothing short of a miracle.
We will officially have the flyers ready for people to start handing out by tomorrow, Sunday June 11th. She has been in the hospital for over a week, beat all the odds, and reminded us all how resilient these puppies can be. No skin grafts were needed as they healed beyond any expectations, no amputation as well! She still has a very, very long road ahead of her, and unfortunately may need surgery as she gets older. To us, this is all OK and we are just happy she is alive, happy, and feeling much better.

Meet W***y!! He is roughly a year and a half old and was rescued from a hoarding situation six months ago. He has been shaved due to his terrible matting. We believe he maybe a terrier mix, he has been working with mirror image K9 for learning that life isn't so scary.
He would thrive in a home with other animals. A confident and happy go lucky brother or sister would be best! He will need a patient and committed adopter, he is a special boy who deserves a loving family that will help him learn to love life.
Finally after a long week of stressful medical emergencies, I have finally updated our website, several of our puppies are now 8 weeks old and ready for adoption!
This week we have had puppies with severe chemical burns due to a Coil Cleaner spill, a litter with Parvo, Bean; our adult chow chow mix with a nasty ear infection, WBC counts through the roof, heart worms, and many other minor medical issues.
Alice is our young lab mix who got the worst of the chemical burns covering most of her body. We are hopeful for a positive outcome, she's a fighter. She has had the absolute best vet care and we have easily fallen in love with her incredibly kind personality despite her condition.
This sweet girl came from a rough situation PLEASE keep a look out!!! Do not chase she will likely run! Again please call her parents if you spot her they are worried sick!

We have spent 8,000 today alone in medical bills. We pulled a very sick senior from Clayton with a WBC count through the roof and massive hair loss (still testing to find the reason from the insanely high WBC level) and today we have found out the family we pulled yesterday has a nasty case of hookworms and to make matters worse, Parvo. We currently have several puppies at an emergency vet, if anyone is willing to donate we have Venmo and PayPal, our funds are LOW after the past couple weeks we need the rescue communities help us save this family. We were originally told the family had Pancreatitis reasoning for the project title, but due to more recent testing Parvo is the determining illness.

Sarabi
This sweet lab Great Dane mix is the BEST girl and has hit a string of bad luck like no other. She loves cats, dogs, and kids and would be the perfect member to any family. She likes to hang out at restaurants or go to the park. She is roughly 8-9 months and is still waiting for her forever home.
On Wednesday our second lab momma gave birth to her puppies, everyone is happy and healthy!
Havens puppies are officially 7 weeks and getting ready to be ready for their forever homes. Momma Haven has done an incredible job with these kiddos and they are as sweet and cute as can be!
We are desperately looking for a foster for our nursing momma Haven!! If you are able to foster her and her 5 puppies please let us know!! Momma Haven is the best and loves her puppies and her human time! Her puppies her 3 week old puppies are as cute as can be!
Meet Sarabi
Our sweet girl is around 7 months and is a lab Great Dane mix with some possible Shepard in her! She loves kids,cats, and other doggies! She is a bundle of fun and energy and would love a family of her own to give so much love to! She has been with us since she was 3 months old and has simply been overlooked due to her size and being an older puppy! She is going to be a fairly big girl but that just means more love to give!!

All five healthy puppies delivered this morning by our perfect momma Haven! We will be sticking with H names for her puppies but for now we are so excited to welcome 5 little babies to our TDNR family! Huge shout out to Havens foster for killing the emotional support role to Haven during her labor!

Our sweet mama has just been picked up and is on our way back to Athens. We are so excited to have this sweet pregnant mama with us, and to give her a safe and loving place to have her babies until she herself can find her forever home!
Transport number two is coming later this evening, and we are so excited to welcome a sweet, senior German shepherd to our TDN family 💚

Several adoptions this week!! Yay!!
We also have SEVERAL new dogs of all backgrounds coming into our care; a momma dog and her two week old babies, 8 month old pups, an old senior pup, and a couple other cases. We will update with pics once they are in our care!
Medical updates: Marley, our senior momma started her heart worm treatment after being cleared with x rays and bloodwork. Our lovely old senior lab Dusty is recovering nicely from his mass removal surgery and has been adopted!
Lady and Mister
Mister’s hair is finally starting to grow back after his skin treatment! Yay!! These two are so amazing and their foster has been a champ. They are incredibly social with people and other dogs! Lady is much more confident then her buddy Mister so they really do make the perfect match! This picture was to adorable not to post. Lady and Mister are both still puppies around 6-8 months and are up for adoption!
Some of the kiddos who headed home over the holidays! We are so happy to see so many of our amazing pups in even more amazing homes!
