I was gonna post about our sweet Zelda today and wanted to share my Son n laws tribute to her ! She was the absolute best dog anyone could ever ask for . I can’t thank our cousins in Texas for such a wonderful gift! Zelda was our very first Corgi , we have always loved the breed and have been so blessed to share the breed with all of our Southern Sass corgi’s family. There are no words to describe the phone call I got last night from our daughter. Zelda was her baby and yes her best friend, always there for her when she needed snuggles. She had the best life with Arielle and Price and was truley spoiled and loved. I can’t thank them enough for providing that for her. Please say a prayer for our family today as we have a memorial for her. And please hold your Zelda babies a little closer today and share a picture of her babies to honor her. She was the best!!

The dog I never wanted, the friend I didn't know I needed.
Zelda was known to not take life in the fast lane. If there was a blade of grass, she sniffed it. No matter if we were in a rush, she always took time to enjoy the flowers. She was also not one to miss a meal. But I think we can all relate to that.
Zelda was also known to have a hatred for one thing and one thing only. Loud engines. She would always swear that if I ever gave her the option to chase one that she would catch it. Anyone that knew her knew this was not the case. She was also the only dog I ever knew to be as interested in airplanes as I was. She could hear them coming before I could even see them.
By golly was Zelda a great mom. She is the reason we have Ophelia and many others have great dogs. Her legacy will live on for many generations to come.
Finally, Zelda would want everyone to take a moment today. Find a loud car to bark at. Make sure to eat a good meal (or 3). Take a nice nap in the rays of the sun, and lastly slow down, take time to smell the flowers, and enjoy the small things in life.
You will be missed greatly missed.
