It’s back to work for the new year! Please welcome Thor the as our first official pack member of 2025!

Thor is a BIG puppy and has been using that to his advantage. We’re going to to be spending the next few weeks working on reactivity, impulse control and proper socialization. So far, Thor has been progressing well and on several adventures as Kirsten’s been working on our upcoming new location! 👀

Newest student at Good Boy School is Otter the

Otter is a true lab in the sense of balancing work and play. We’ve been nonstop since he got here but he always makes time to be the biggest goofball. In just a week he’s walking nicely on a leash, heels in busy places, can hold and sit, down and place with distractions and is not losing his marbles every time he meets someone. He’ll be a model citizen in no time!!

Jessie, the mix joined us over Thanksgiving and has been hard at work learning all there is about being a model citizen. We started we the basics, bumped up her confidence and distraction proofed this little tiny terrorist and now she’s unstoppable! Jessie is a force to be reckoned with!!

It’s raining doodles! We’ve got Rosie checked in for 2 weeks of fun and great training! Rosie is incredibly smart, has tons of energy and springs for legs but we’ve taken all of that and turned her into a model citizen in just a few days. She still has another week of training and consistently blows us away with how awesome she is! What a fun little dood!

Josie!!!!!
We never get tired of these perfect little doodle dogs around here. Josie got to spend 2 weeks with us learning all there is to know about being a good girl. It was quite the adventure, which was perfect as we desensitized her to riding in the car, proofed her obedience in a ton of new places and made sure she had a solid recall so she could live her best lake life!
Josie is Maddi’s half sister! What fun it was to have these girls training at the same time!!

Welcome Maddi to the GAK9 Athens pack! This spunky little girl is here for 2 weeks to sharpen her obedience skills, gain confidence out and about and perfect her manners when meeting new people! She’s an absolute doll and is everyone’s best friend- including Gwinnett County PD’s finest K9 handlers. 😉🥰👮‍♂️👮‍♂️

Introducing the newest member of the GAK9 Athens pack, Bowie!! This dood is here from Boone, NC to learn all about being a good boy. We’re fine tuning the skills his owners have already done such a great job teaching, as well as, heavy environmental exposure and beginning service dog training. This little guy has made himself quite at home with his much more intimidating pack mates…he’s got the best body guards around!
