Please join us in welcoming Dr. Katie Samples to Animal Wellness Center of Athens!

Dr. Samples was born and raised in Woodstock, Georgia, however, she has called Athens home since 2001. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia in 2005, and went on to graduate from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She enjoys internal medicine with a special interest in ultrasound diagnostics and geriatric care. Dr. Samples strives to be the voice for animals that do not have one, and to nurture the bond between owners and their pets for as long as possible. When not working, she loves reading, camping and spending time on the lake with her husband and two daughters.

We are closed today, in observance of New Years Day. We will re-open tomorrow with regular business hours.

In 2025, we will celebrate our TEN year anniversary and what a great ten years it has been. We can not say thank you enough to those who have continued to support our privately owned, small business.
