We lost an incredible team member and friend this weekend due to a tragic car accident. Many of you know Deb McMurtrey for her vivacious smile and infectious laugh. She was a servant for the Lord all her days, taking care of all of us and many of you.

Please allow us time to celebrate her amazing life this Wednesday afternoon. If you’d like to join us in paying your respects to her family, her celebration of life ceremony will be at 2pm at Emanuel Baptist Church, this Wednesday, July 3rd.

The clinic and animal shelter will be closing to the public at noon this Wednesday. They will also be closed to celebrate Independence Day.

God bless the McMurtrey Family and all those who loved her.

We are teaming up with the shelter to decorate a Christmas tree full of pictures of dogs and cats that have been adopted from the shelter both recently and throughout the years.

Please help us fill up the tree by bringing in a printed picture of your pet (with or without your family in the picture). The printed picture should be roughly 3x3” with the name of the pet and the year they were adopted written on the back.

For example, I’ll be making an ornament with my dog Bailey on it, who I adopted from the shelter in 2015, with her little boy.

Happy Halloween from LVC.

Keep those chocolate bowls out of fidos reach.

If you’re walking with your dog trick-or-treating, please don’t come up to another persons door with your dog. This creates stressful situations and puts people’s safety at risk.
