Did you know our snap heartworm tests don’t just test for heartworms?

It also tests for tick-borne diseases! Our snap tests can look for presence of Erlichia, anaplasma, and Lyme as well as heartworms. That’s why prevention is so important! Not only does it keep the heartworms and ticks away—it also protects against diseases associated with the aforementioned vectors.

We did it last year—we’re doing it again! Sycamores 2nd annual Thanksgiving food drive for families in the community!

We can take non-perishables, we can take frozen/refrigerated food!

Donations can be dropped off at the clinic from now until the 25th and each donation will enter you into our 4th annual holiday raffle!

Another dapper doggie receiving analgesic laser treatment with our therapeutic laser 🐶🕶️

This past Saturday we had a surprising amount of patients with bladder problems! UTIs can be painful, so this laser serves to reduce inflammation and pain associated with urinary tract infections.

Puppies, puppies, and more puppies!

These 3 lovable dachshunds have been staying with us due to ACCAS experiencing some overflows… and we’ve enjoyed every moment of it (if you couldn’t tell)! We work closely with Athens Clarke County Animal Shelter to provide heartworm treatment, rabies vaccines, health certificates, and boarding: and are so happy to be able to help! If you can, consider fostering through their foster program to help with overflow or even take part in their doggy day out program! Did you know October is Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month? Comment a picture of your adopted shelter dog if you can!

October 29th is National Cat Day! 🐱 Did you know rabies in cats is the most commonly reported rabid domestic animal in the U.S.? 💉 The virus can be spread by both unvaccinated and wild animals. 🦠 Because of this, we are offering discounted rabies vaccines on appointments scheduled October 29th!
