Alistair is a flat coated Border Collie and he’s in need of a Christmas miracle! This handsome boy was taken in by someone who was trying to help him out of a bad situation. Unfortunately, she was unfamiliar with the breed and he’s too much dog for her. We are looking for a foster or foster to adopter. Border Collies are said to be one of the smartest dogs out there. He needs some who can mentally and physically exercise him. Alistair is not for a first time dog owner or apartment living. If you are sedentary, you need Minnie(posted last night) because Alistair will help to meet your 10,000 step goal every day. He’s a very affectionate dog who is good with dogs, cats, and kids. Miss Minnie has been a good girl this year and is hoping Santa will bring her a home of her very own. This young adult Chihuahua is timid initially, but warms up quickly. Like most chihuahua’s, Minnie is a big fan of blankets. She sleeps with her foster and being underneath the covers is her favorite. Her foster reports her to be affectionate and likes to snuggle. She recently traveled with her foster mom to a family Thanksgiving and did very well. Minnie is housebroken but will use p*e pads while foster mom is at work. She is a runner so a fenced yard or committed leash walking is a must, she cannot be trusted unleashed. To apply for this little girl, go to perryanimalwelfaresociety.com.
