We have a family who is unable to keep their baby due to his “love” of their chickens.

Harli head piebald boy, unaltered, heavy European lines, carries chocolate. He needs a home with no chickens or smaller farm animals as well as a secure privacy fence (as he’s a bit of a Houdini). Hi DD family!! I know we don’t keep this page updated as much since we retired from puppies, but I did want to take a quick minute to share an update on one of our Dooley Dane families. Last month, one of our Dooley Dane families lost their human father suddenly and unexpectedly. 💔

As we all know, Danes bond incredibly deeply with their humans. So, not only are the pups (they are all always “pups” to me) grieving this unimaginable loss, but I can’t begin to imagine the heart ache their human mother, Kara, is going through. Not only has she lost her best friend and partner, but she is also left to figure out how to regroup pieces of a life that is entirely different now. I once saw a quote that read, “nothing is so painful to the human mind as a great and sudden change”. It is all too true, unfortunately.
