PSA! It’s snake season 🐍
Last week we had a patient come in with a rattlesnake bite. Lilly was in a field with her dad when she was bitten. She was rushed to our clinic where she received anti-venom and placed on IV fluids. Lilly was hospitalized for the day to be monitored. Thankfully, she was able to go home that evening and we are happy to report, Lilly is back to herself! She’s eating and drinking, acting normal and the swelling is completely down. We are so grateful that her parents were able to get her to us in time!
