🎉🏡 ADOPTED: JAZZY & PEPPER! 🏡🎉

Our longest resident sisters have finally found their forever home! ❤️🐾

After patiently waiting and watching so many others leave, Jazzy and Pepper, our beautiful bonded girls, are officially adopted — together! 🙌

These two sweethearts have spent far too long in the shelter, but today, their story changed forever. Their new family said they’ll have plenty of treats, lots of new friends, and be spoiled absolutely rotten — just the way it should be. 🐕🐕💕

We are over the moon knowing these deserving girls will live the rest of their lives surrounded by love, fun, and the comfort of a real home. 💫

To everyone who shared their posts, spent time with them, and never gave up hope — THANK YOU. Your support helped make this dream come true. 🥹💖

🐾💔 HOW IS SHE STILL HERE?! 💔🐾
Meet ZARA – our beautiful, bouncy, soulful bully mix who has completely stolen the hearts of our entire staff.

When Zara first arrived, she was a cowering, scared, distrustful girl — clearly a pup who hadn’t known what it meant to feel safe or loved. But over time, we watched something amazing happen… 💫

Zara bloomed.

Now? She’s a ball of love and energy, always ready to make a new friend (or five).
🐶 Dog-friendly? YES – she plays with every single dog she meets!
🐱 Cat-friendly? You bet!
🧠 Smart? She knows sit, shake, AND high five!
😍 Gorgeous? Just LOOK at her. Staff and volunteer favorite, hands down.

Zara is the kind of dog that lights up the room, and yet... she still waits. 💔 We don’t understand how such a gentle, joyful soul hasn’t found her forever.

She’s ready. She’s been ready. All she needs now is someone to give her the chance she’s been patiently waiting for.

This beautiful girl was found at the Athens Police Department wearing a green clover-patterned collar — a sign someone must be missing her dearly. 🍀

We’re calling her Lainey, and she’s an absolute sweetheart. She’s clean, calm, and clearly used to being in a home. Lainey knows "sit" and "paw", walks nicely on a leash, and has wonderful manners. 🐶

She’s not just a stray — she’s family to someone. Let’s help her get back home. 💔

Meet Cami— a 6-year-old Pitbull princess who’s been melting hearts since the moment she arrived as a stray. While her journey started off uncertain, Cami has been lucky enough to stay with two incredible foster families who’ve shown us just how special she truly is.

✨ Cami’s greatest loves?
Naps. Cuddles. Couch time. Repeat.
She’s house-trained, enjoys bath time, and has perfected the art of being a total lover girl.

She’s dog-friendly, but like any queen, she prefers to be the center of attention at home. While she enjoys a good playdate, she’d really thrive in a home where she’s your one and only cuddle bug. 💕

Cami is:

✔️ Dog social (but prefers to have her humans all to herself)

This handsome fella landed in our care on Friday from Animal Control. Confused and searching for help, he wandered up to someone's home, who helped him find us!

He was found without a collar, and does not have a microchip. However, he is extremely well mannered, and clearly used to the comfort of human affection! We'd love to help reunite him with his family. 💕
