"Lucy is 5 years old, she was my first foster (and first foster fail). She loves to sniff, walk, and most of all sleep. She loves any and all treats and crunchy vegetables like carrots and celery. She is the happiest dog in the world, she taps her two front paws whenever she is excited, like she can’t hold it in."

"Bernard Norman Rex Boop joined the family in December 2024. He decided to give up the life of a community cat and move in to a warm house. Despite being 7 months old when first introduced to home life, Bernard quickly adapted to belly rubs, feather flinger toys and snuggles with his people. Bernard has some growth challenges so he is a little fellow at only five and a half pounds. Additionally, this little man requires some steps to get up onto hard to reach soft furnishings for extra cuddles, but those steps make for superb posing. Bernard’s favorite activities include scratching on cardboard scratchers, attempting to befriend his housemate cats and enjoying nom nom foods that are awarded for happy head bumps."

"Beau is a sweet southern gentleman who loves sun puddles, open windows, belly scratches, and any kind of treat. He’s quick to snuggle up on an open lap and loudly remind you when his food bowl is almost empty. He was an expert string hunter in his athletic youth, but these days he prefers to be a perfect loaf on the heated cat bed. He’s aging gracefully and still has the energy to start wrestling matches with his little brother, Archer. We met when we were both babies (I was 23 🥲) so we’ve been through a lot together in the past 14 years, and he’s the best little sidekick a girl could have!"

"We adopted Lil Debbie (Deborah when she is in trouble) and Hoho from Athens Animal Shelter in August. Since joining our family they have become best friends, playing, napping, and getting into mischief together. Debbie loves crinkle balls, canned food, burrowing into warm laundry, and practicing her “smile”. Hoho loves sleeping in, cuddles, canned food, hiding in the shadows, and hoarding treasures from around the house."

He is a charismatic little flirt and charms everyone he meets!

"Salazar (aka Baby Sal) was the very first pet I adopted as an adult, nine years ago. I asked the humane society to direct me to their most boisterous kitten, and this guy has certainly not disappointed! Sal spends his days curled up in the warmest spots of the house (usually on one his dads’ heads), taking frequent breaks from his slumber to run off the zoomie fits that posses him or to steal his favorite toy from the craft drawer - pipe cleaners. Which he then begs his dads to play fetch with. This chunky lil guy loves food, all the snuggles, and reminding his dog and cat siblings who’s boss. Baby Sal rules the house with an iron paw and the cutest little meow you’ve ever heard. He is absolutely adored by everyone that he meets!"

She loves to be outdoors whether it’s basking in the sun, rolling in the grass (BAH’s front yard is a favorite spot) or going on walks with her human and dog friends. Ginger is always down for a car ride, a round of tug-of-war with her rope or a spoonful of peanut butter."

"Goose and Baby Rat Queen are both strays that I found at my parents house in south Georgia on my birthday back in Sept right before Hurricane Helene was set to hit. Our Rattie girl wasn’t able to see and was so tiny when she wandered up. Goose came later as he was sneaking around my parents house looking for food and somewhere to hide. We scruffed him and picked him right up and put him in the box with Rattie.

Goose is a loose and wild boy, fitting the orange cat category very well, while Rattie is our fierce little queen who stands her ground against her almost twice her size brother, Goose, in their little play battles around the house. Their favorite toy is a string on a stick, and Churu sticks are always in demand."

"Achilles Fredrick Harrington is a 3 year old orange tabby who loves nothing more than dinnertime and lazing around on the couch, bed, or in his cat house all hours of the day. He is an excellent cuddler and ESA for his mama and enjoys waking her up by lightly batting at her face in the morning, then showings his thanks by curling up on top of her head after breakfast has been eaten. He loves everyone and truly isn’t afraid of anything, he loves going to the vet! A sweet, cuddly, albeit strange, young man."
