EVERYONE MEET DR. DELANA MCCOY!

She is a new veterinarian we have had the honor of adding to our team here at OVAC!!

Delana is a 2023 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. McCoy spent time working as a small animal/exotic veterinarian in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. McCoy was born and raised in Ravenswood, WV and has a special interest in exotic animals, especially reptiles and amphibians. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, traveling and swimming!

She is accepting new clients, including exotics at our Pomeroy and Athens Location!!!

We are currently excepting resumes at our Athens location for a full-time receptionist. This position is one of the most important positions within our practice. Applicants must possess strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and in person communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.  Responsibilities include greeting clients, scheduling appointments, entering clients and patient's information into computer system, processing payments, and storing digital records. Applicants must understand this position can be sad and demanding, but also exciting and rewarding. We are looking for an individual that is reliable, honest, outgoing, and hard working. Ohio Valley Animal Clinic is looking for a handyman/farmhand to manage and assist of the day to day operations/necessities revolving around the clinic locations in Pomeroy, Wellston, and Athens. This will also include the farm locations in Racine and McArthur. Duties will include but are not limited to feeding and monitoring cattle, checking/fixing/maintaining the fence, lawn work, operating tractors and other farm equipment, building and rental maintenance (upkeep and repairs), grounds keeping etc. The list is likely limited only by imagination. Update: Phones are now back on!

Good Morning! Our phone provider has indicated to us there is a widespread outage with no estimated return time. At this time, the Pomeroy location can not be reached by phone. Please contact either the Athens or Wellston location as they will be able to access your records, schedule appointments, and fulfill refill request. The Pomeroy location is still open and can still be reached by E-mail at [email protected]. We will be sure to update once the phones are repaired. We appreciate your understanding!
