We have 3 boarding pens available that are ready to be filled! Each pen is a 40x70ft paddock with shelters in each pen. It’s $250 per month if you provide the hay or an additional $150 if we feed our hay. We have a hay barn to store all hay out of the elements. We feed, water, come out and enjoy our outdoor arena and large round pen. We also offer a tack room so all your tack is right here on site. Started spring training finally :) this boy is only 23 months and already on his way , can't wait to see what he becomes in the next few years :) he has the blood thats for sure 🥰

Meet Asling! She is a 4yr old OTTB here at the ranch getting restarted and learning there is a life outside of racing. This was her first time loping through the pole pattern and standing right at 18 hands tall she did pretty well.

Are there any kiddos that want to work off riding lessons? We have pens that need to be cleaned a couple times per week and in exchange they can earn some riding lessons. Must be able to work independently and follow instructions. Please pm with any questions or if interested.

On Sunday, Mandy got to attend her very first gaming show. She has been with us for about a month and a half finishing her 60 days. When she came to the ranch she was only being ridden in a hackamore and was extremely reactive under saddle. She also would pull back when tied and was on the lazier side of things. She now rides out in a bit and loves to work and stands tied all day with no issues. She handled the show like a champ and was even keeping up with my current gaming horse. Mandy’s kid got to come compete on her while I coached beside her. We are excited to watch this young horse grow into the amazing gaming horse she is learning to be.

We welcomed this adorable filly to the ranch yesterday morning! She is a gypsy vanner draft cross with gorgeous paint markings. Both mom and baby are doing amazing at the 24 hour check mark. We are looking for name ideas!

Everyone meet Annie! She is a 5 year old grade mare here for 30 days of training. She is extremely touchy with her feet/legs and bucked under saddle, so we started with pool noodles and got quit the reaction. After a while she did calm down and trot around the roundpen without kicking or bucking. We call that a win for the noodles.

C**t Starting Sunday! What better way to get the babies desensitized to the saddle than with the help of pool noodles. Sarge the 2yr old mustang c**t handled it well.

Hey everyone! Weir Ranch is fully operational and ready to help you with all of your equine needs. Located in Athol, Id. We offer full care boarding on a month to month basis. Horses are fed twice a day and boarders have access to a private tack room, a large outdoor arena, and a large round pen. We offer riding lessons for all ages, beginner to advanced. We also offer horse training from c**t starting to spring tune ups and everything in between. We have openings for April and May for training.
