Best in Show - The Aussome Th*****me from TX. Aggie, Howdy and Hullaballou. I am told that Howdy wants to be my girlfriend. Sorry, but my heart belongs to Shani. Always will. But these three girls are awfully cute for any fella who's available for a long distance online relationship. I'm thinking of you, Isaiah P.!

First Runners-up: Darla & Sully, ASF Spokesdogs from New York and our amateur Shakespearian Thespians. The Bard would be proud.

Most Outrageous or Humorous- Harriet! A proverbial favorite with her impression of Sophia from The Golden Girls. Harriet is a Golden Girl herself, reaching the ripe old age of 17 and still going strong in her Chariot.

First Runners-up: Storm and the late Rogue. RIP Girl! Find Rascal and Shani at the Rainbow Bridge and say "Hi" for me and Rio!

Most Creative or Original: Josie for her impression of Snow White! With the 7 Dwarves in a supporting role.

Best Duo or Group- Northwoods Law ( ASF Spokesdogs River, Maverick, Mazikeen and Zeus) for their Law & Order (Canine Division) Skit. These Spokesdogs always go the extra mile. River is in fact one of the two original Spokesdogs that got this whole thing started!

Miss Congeniality- America's Sweetheart, Shelby from Virginia for her portrayal of Glinda The Good Witch from Wizard of Oz. I tell you there was magic in that wand she had. She certainly bewitched all of you, didn't she? She has some big paws to fill now that she's stepped in for Shani as our Glamor Girl.

So there's just one more task and one more BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. That will be the drawing for my Competitors Appreciation Squishmallow Prize that I designed myself. The names of all the non-finalists are going in my magic blue drawing box that I saved from my birthday two years ago. (That's 20% of my life!) And it will be drawn later tonight. Or maybe tomorrow. I need a nap after all this excitement!

Guys! Dually-Dude here! IT'S DECISION DAY!!!! Who will be "Best in Show" for our Howloween Costume Photo Contest. We have 7 great Finalists. And they can't wait to learn who won what prize package. And we can't figure it out unless everyone who participated in the raffle and got an email with their ballots ACTUALLY submits them. We sent out 285 ballots. But we only have 200 responses! We raised a total of $4360. We are absolutely overwhelmed and thrilled by everyone's generosity. That's enough to sponsor 10 Aussies from shelters around the country. Donations amounted to $1990 and ticket sales were $2370. There were 279 tickets purchased. Shelby's package had the largest number of individual tickets at 40. Ajax & Lilo had the second most tickets but the largest amount of money raised at $370. And Dually-Dude finished 3rd with 32 tickets and second most money, $320. Rio-Roo finished in the middle of the pack with a respectable 22 tickets and $220. So peace is maintained at Hemler Manor.

NOW here's the BIG announcement! We sent out over 280 Ballots. But there are only 196 returned. That's too many outstanding for us to determine winners fairly for the photo costume contest. SO WE'RE EXTENDING BALLOTING until 5 P.M tomorrow, Sunday the 6th. There were a lot ballots sent in the last 3 or 4 hours. So procrastinators, please check your email for an email from [email protected]. The link to cast your ballots is in the email. It's the Honor System. If you earned 7 tickets, we're trusting you to submit 7 ballots. When things are this close, a few ballots can tip who wins which prize dramatically. So PLEASE VOTE!!!!!! Good Morning Everyone! This is Roux, who you may know better as Rock Lobstah. We are the Blackmon Pack! And we get the honor of going LAST because we were the ones who suggested this FUNdraiser! We've been Dually-Dude fans for a long time. And we decided that we wanted to be part of his team and help save at-risk Aussies in Shelters. So we convinced our Mom Julie to join the FUNdraising Team! She contacted Dually-Dude and said IF he'd do a Halloween Event, she'd provide 4 packages of prizes!

Now Dually-Dude and Rio were a little bit exhausted from doing their Birthday Raffles... but DD is always up for a Photo Contest! And DD also loves filling fan's requests whenever he can. And so, here we are! All dressed up and pitching our Prize Packages at https://app.galabid.com/ddhowloween2024

We did such a great job on our packages, we put Rio-Roo's package together for him. Greetings Y'All from Virginia! It's Lilo of ASF Spokesdog Duo Ajax and Lilo! You are obviously aware that you now have less than 24 hours to buy your tickets for the ASF Howloween Raffle??? Right??? I hope so!!! 'Cause that's a fact.

While Ajax and I didn't make Finalist status, we're still hoping that you'll buy some tickets on our package at https://app.galabid.com/ddhowloween2024 Last we looked, we had second place in the ticket count! That's vindication that we have Exquisite TASTE when it comes to putting a raffle package together! Just look at all the toys and treats. There's enough in that toy box for TWO Aussies. Ajax and I are in fact very good at sharing. Of course, you'd have to take turns having the plush blanket in your crate. Like odd and even weeks maybe??? Or maybe your mom will just appropriate it for herself. Problem solved.

Anyways, Ajax and I want to wish EVERYONE Good Luck... Both the Finalists and the folks buying the tickets and placing the votes. So far there are 153 Votes submitted.
