Big news for pets across Georgia! 🐾 ❤️

We've received a transformative $2.5 million grant from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation to launch a statewide initiative that strengthens animal protection, disaster response, and community outreach in all 159 Georgia counties.

With this critical funding, we are:
– Adding 150 new emergency shelter units
– Expanding cruelty investigations and disaster response into underserved counties
– Distributing vital veterinary care, pet supplies, and training resources across the state

This partnership is a bold step toward a future where every Georgia community has the tools it needs to protect animals and support the people who love them.

Sasha recently had a big day out with one of our volunteers, and he absolutely crushed it.

When life gets tough, no one should have to face losing their pet too.

When Coyote’s mom entered a sober living facility that didn’t allow pets, she had nowhere safe for her little pup to go. Thanks to our Pets in Crisis Support program and a compassionate foster, Coyote was placed in a loving temporary home while his mom focused on rebuilding her life.

His broken leg, which caused him so much pain, has been removed, and now he’s on the road to recovery. He's resting comfortably in a loving foster home, healing beautifully, and adjusting to life on three legs.

Ashley was adopted as a hopeful puppy, but now she’s back at the shelter as an unsure adult.

She was returned to us for reasons beyond her control, and is now feeling anxious and overwhelmed in the shelter. She does best in a home where she can settle into a peaceful routine and feel safe and loved.

Please help us spread the word that Ashley is housebroken, non-destructive, quiet, gentle, and incredibly loving. Despite everything she’s been through, she still holds onto hope that her next home will be her forever.

We’re excited to offer a Free Vaccine Clinic on Monday, April 7 from 8 AM - 12 PM at our Atlanta location, thanks to the support of The Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation.

Pets will receive free vaccines (Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper), microchips, and pet food to help keep them happy and healthy.
