Momma Bella only has two moods today: kisses and smiles.

Pregnancy and nursing take a lot out of our pet patients, and their people. At Remedy, we believe education is just as important as care. That’s why we take the time to walk families through what their pet needs before, during, and after pregnancy.

When we met Pearl, we learned her skin condition had developed quickly over the past week. Painful lesions spread fast, and her family knew she needed help, but they were worried of what that help might cost.

At Remedy, she was met with compassion and care. We started antibiotics right away and introduced Phovia, a light therapy designed to speed up skin healing.

Through it all, Pearl was incredibly loving and so brave. Her condition was serious, but so was her spirit.

From malnourished mama to sweet senior, Ava has come such a long way since her adoption from in 2017. Her original bio read: “I’ve had a hard life, so I’m looking for a nice home to take me in and take good care of me.”

And she found just that.

Ava’s mom has been endlessly devoted to her, always making sure she gets the care she needs, even when it hasn’t been easy. Through Remedy, Ava’s received heartworm treatment, multiple dentals, and ear hematoma surgeries: all at-cost, and always with love.

We’re so honored to be a continued part of her journey and applaud her dedicated mom for getting her the care she needs.

Spotted near our Gainesville clinic, Toulouse was a scared little stray - flea-covered, limping, and alone. With care and compassion, he healed, opened up, and stole our hearts.

Now he’s Remedy Gainesville’s unofficial clinic cat. Soon, he’ll be ready for a home of his own - but for now, he’s safe, snuggled, and thriving. He’s a reminder that every animal deserves a second chance.

At her recent check-up, Nala purred nonstop, made biscuits, and was so full of love. You’d never guess she recently underwent major surgery. Nala came to us with two serious masses that turned out to be grade 2 cancer, but thanks to affordable care and quick action, both tumors were fully removed. She’s now completely cancer-free and back to enjoying her golden years, just as she deserves. Nala is a testament to why our work matters, to both pets and their families.

These two cuties didn't have the easiest start in life. After being rescued from a local cat colony with upper respiratory infections, Luna and Mincho came to us for treatment. They have since healed tremendously, and their new family shares that they have been coming out of their shells more and more each day. We look forward to seeing them again soon for their next vaccine appointment!

Dr. Urban and Dr. Beaulieu got to care for two special little patients this week! These pups hit the 4-month mark which means it was time for them to get their very first rabies vaccine. They’re growing up happy and healthy with the help of preventative care here at Remedy.
