Meet the gentle and beautiful Max 🖤 Max is a 1.5 year old house panther who is also FIV+, but that’s no big deal! FIV+ cats can live with non-FIV+ cats with no issues, and FurKids covers medical care related to FIV status post adoption.*

Max gets along with other cats, and is so gentle with children and loves to be pet by all humans he meets! He loves to give headbutts to be pet, and is always ready for companionship. He likes to keep our volunteers company while we organize the adoption center - as long as he’s near someone he’s overjoyed. Max will make someone very happy (and very lucky to have a sweet boy like him in their life!)

Max originally came to FurKids when his elderly owner could no longer care for him, and we are sure that he misses being in an actual home… 💔

We love a heartwarming post-adoption update! Some may remember our bonded pair of senior cats, Rev and Sq**rt, who were surrendered together because their last owner moved.

Well their new adopter sent us this sweet update and we are happy to report that these two are doing wonderful!

Their adopter had this to say:
“They are doing fantastic. These are some of the best cats ever. They just want to eat and cuddle. We got some toys so they can get some exercise in.”

Meet Sadie 2 💞🐾 A spunky girl guaranteed to make you laugh everyday.

She’s a little mama with a chunky belly and a silly personality to match! She was a mom to 4 busy boys, but now it’s time for her to find her own forever home. She loves chin rubs, is very food motivated, and loves to hangout near her people! So much so that sometimes she hungout in the trash can under the desk at one of our other adoption centers while people were working (video attached) 😅

She’s tolerant of calm-mannered cats and would do best in a home with mature adults and/or older children.

Meet Stevie Boy 🐾❤️ A 1 year old gentle soul with a heart of gold!

He is a true lap cat, always up for a good snuggle and loves to be held. He values his human friends so much and also loves to company of other cats! He can be a little reserved in a new environment but opens up and turns into the sweetest most loving kitty that we’ve ever seen.

Meet Mr. Moo, a 2 year old gentleman who is ready to find his forever home in the city 🖤🤍

You can often find him sitting in a lap or pondering the meaning of life in the sunlight 💭☀️

He’s a silly boy that gets along great with other cats and would do awesome with a cat-friendly dog. He also jumps into carriers on his own! Mr. Moo is so special and would be a great addition to any home. He was a Cat Cafe cat up at FurKids Headquarters for a few months, so you know he is well socialized and friendly. He’s currently here at FurKids Midtown waiting for you 🫶🏻

Goldie & Skitty - the bonded pair that was abandoned 💔

These two sweet brothers were abandoned by their owner earlier this year, but still remain determined to find a home before the holidays. They are both so sweet. Goldie (orange) is outgoing, and Skitty (tuxedo) is charming and docile. They’re the perfect balanced duo, and they love each other so much. They deserve the world & more!

They were Cat Cafe cats up at FurKids Headquarters, but often got overlooked - we hope that being here at FurKids Midtown will be the last time they have to be in an adoption center ❤️

Meet Tony, our resident babysitter 😸🤵‍♂️🐾

Tony is a 1 year old tuxedo boy who loves kittens! He is extroverted and very sweet as well. He would do best in almost any home, but especially one where he can get the playtime he needs (even better if you have a feline or canine friend of similar energy level for him).

Bruno is the sweetest boy with the saddest story 💔

He is 4 now, but was adopted as a young boy with another kitty named Mimi - him and Mimi became a true bonded pair and loved each other so much. Unfortunately, their adopter had to return both of them due to moving. Shortly after this, Bruno’s beloved counterpart Mimi passed away.

Bruno is clearly missing his sister as we have seen him seeking out the comfort of other cats. We couldn’t find him one day, and then noticed he joined another cat to sleep in their cage with them.

Bruno is remarkably sweet and loves to be held, petted, and talked to. He gets along great with all, whether human or feline. He is easygoing and could easily be acclimated to a dog. This sweet boy deserves the world and more. He has the most gorgeous pale green eyes that you will instantly fall in love with.

Meet Oscar Chanel 🐾 Our newest and fabulous tripod here at FurKids Midtown!

Oscar Chanel was most likely hit by a car, and FurKids sprung into action to get him the help he needed. Despite his hard start to life, he is the sweetest, most gentle boy. He’s around 1 year old and full of love and life! He gets along great with other cats and loves humans so much. He will jump in your lap for a good snuggle session and enjoys being pet and held.

“He’s doing awesome! Right once I brought him home he seemed years younger- a lot more playful and curious.

He’s also been walking a lot more! Still a little wobbly but definitely getting more comfortable. He’s able to put some food away too haha, he’ll be at a healthy weight in no time 😊”

We love these updates and especially from adopters of our kitties who may be a little “different” from other kitties. Magnus had so much love to give despite losing his leg to an injury, and we are so grateful that his adopter saw that and took him home. 🐾

Isn’t Magnus so dreamy? ☁️😍

He is a 4 year old tripod with the sweetest soul! He had to have his back left leg removed recently due to a traumatic injury, but no worries - he gets around fine (but could benefit from some pet steps at home so that he can get up to bed to cuddle you🥰)

What he lacks in limbs, he makes up for in love - he is oh so cuddly and loves to give nose boops! Come meet him today at ❤️

Angel Eyes definitely lives up to her name! She’s one of our newest kitties here at FurKids Midtown and we can’t get enough of her 🥰 Only 4 months old but we can tell she’s going to be a lifelong cuddle bug!

If you’re looking for a calm, snuggly lap kitty then Mama Rose is your girl 🐈‍⬛🐾❤️ She’s a 1 year old house panther who sometimes gets soooo happy that she sticks her tongue out!

She was a favorite with our vet techs for being easy to handle, and loving to nuzzle up under your chin when you hold her close 🥰
