ADOPTION SUCCESS STORY - Can you tell what’s different about this cat? Here’s a hint… absolutely nothing! 🐾

Former FurKids Midtown resident Kitty Guapo (now named Dill) is FIV+, but that didn’t make him any less lovable, adoptable, or capable of living a long, happy life. FIV is often misunderstood, but cats like Guapo can live safely with non-FIV cats and enjoy all the same joys of being part of a family. 💕 Guapo lives with his new kitty sister who does not have FIV, and it’s completely fine!

Thanks to FurKids, every FIV+ cat that is adopted receives lifetime vetting assistance to ensure they stay healthy and thrive in their forever homes.

Guapo found his happily-ever-after, and is proving to live his best life as we see here in the update photos from his new paw-rents! Here’s to breaking stigmas against FIV and celebrating every adoption success.

Meet Mylo, the cat who LOVES other cats 🐾

It’s not very often we require a cat MUST go to a home with other cats… but Mylo genuinely seeks out friendship among each and every cat he meets. He doesn’t know what a stranger is!

Mylo is a 1 year old boy with the chunkiest cheeks, and a big heart to match. He loves people and cats alike! With a chill personality like his, he probably wouldn’t mind a dog either.

He spent a few weeks at FurKids Headquarters where he became friends to all the cats, even becoming our unofficial “welcoming committee” to the newer, scared kitties. 🥹

In the second slide you see Mylo sleeping peacefully next to a cat he had just met - lol! Mylo is such a special boy!

Mylo would do best in a home with at least one other playful, easy going cat that he can bond with. It won’t be a hard task - he loves all the cats he’s ever met! We have him here at FurKids Midtown and you can apply for him today at FurKids.org/adopt!

From abandoned at a park to living her best life in her new home: Cream Puff, now named “Coco Bella” is a true testament of what a second chance at forever means 💗

Another FurKids Adoption Success Story: BRUNO ⭐️💕

Bruno had a sad start to life - adopted, but returned with his bonded half, a little girl cat named Mimi. Mimi passed in our care shortly after being returned, most likely due to stress. Not only did Bruno lose his home, but he lost his best friend.

We brought Bruno to Midtown, where he desperately tried to seek our friendship among the other cats, but something was always missing. He was noticeably sad, often sleeping, but always accepting of love.

Bruno’s adopter happened to come in on a weekend, met Bruno and fell in love. Bruno finally found someone who would dedicate the love he needed to heal his broken heart, and we think these photos of him in his new home show just how wonderful of a life he is living now.

Meet Cream Puff, the 1 year old beauty with a sad story 💔

Cream Puff was adopted as a kitten over a year ago and was unfortunately found outside as a stray recently. We don’t know how she ended up outside, but are happy that she was able to be brought back safely here to FurKids.

She is extremely loving, affectionate, and easy going. And she is also extremely quiet in the car! A very well behaved girl. ❤️

Do you all remember the THREE cats that were adopted from FurKids Midtown a few weeks ago? Thor, Loki, and Ponce are settling in quite nicely in this animal loving home ❤️

Their adopter sent us so many photos of these boys adjusting and coexisting peacefully with their new kitty and dog siblings. We love updates like this and love when adopters take a chance on our adult cats - they are capable of so much love.

Have you ever seen a kitty so rare? 🖤

Meet Luna (was Noelle), our very first black smoke tabby here at FurKids Midtown. Not only is she unique, but she has a very sweet personality to match her beautiful coat pattern.

Luna was adopted from FurKids as a kitten but unfortunately returned back as an adult recently due to the dogs in the home not liking her - for this reason, a home without dogs would be best for this sweet girl.

Luna is currently at our FurKids Midtown location. If you are interested, please complete an adoption application at FurKids.org/adopt and list “Luna (was Noelle)” as the kitty you’re interested in- our adoption counselor will be in touch very soon to answer any questions you have and hopefully get you set up to take this angel home.

Meet our petite, softhearted girl Gardenia! 🌸

Gardenia is 2 years old and was a great mommy to her 5 kittens. The kittens have all been adopted, so now it’s her time to shine! She is very sweet and would prefer to be an only kitty. ❤️ She spent time in a foster home and her foster mom reported that Gardenia is extremely sweet, calm, and loving.

We can hold her, pet her, and love on her so easily. She would be perfect in a home where she can blossom and be queen of her castle.
