He's strong and eager to explore, but don't let his enthusiasm fool you—he's also a cuddly companion who loves to wiggle right into your lap.
This guy is all about people and everything happening around him. Spending time with Einstein is an absolute delight. ATLANTA! Can you help? We have an ongoing painting project requires us to free up space, making fostering for even just a couple of weeks even more critical. This project requires that humans and animals vacate specific kennel sections for at least two weeks while the paint cures. We’re rotating animals around the shelter, but with more dogs in need arriving each day, we must find homes for pets, so we do not run out of space. If you can help, please visit us at 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA. Sign up to foster short-term for the painting project at LifeLineAnimal.org/foster-dogs. Let’s work together to make a difference in the lives of our furry friends!
We currently have 389 dogs in our shelter, and our goal is to reach 365 by tomorrow to maintain a manageable population. While it's daunting to see such a large number, it underscores the urgent reality we face. Without finding homes for these dogs in the next 30 hours, we'll be forced to make heartbreaking decisions.
Can you make a difference today by helping a dog from our shelter find a home? Fostering or adopting will save the life of an animal in need. Your support means everything to us and to these precious animals. Together, we can give them the chance they deserve.
Please, consider opening your heart and home to a shelter dog today. Visit us at 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA
We were first made aware of Midnight and his owner over a year ago when they were unhoused, facing the harsh realities of life on the streets. Our team was able to help Midnight and his owner with supplies when needed.
Unfortunately, in February, circumstances forced us to bring Midnight into our care, disrupting the bond he shared with his devoted owner. Our team searched high and low for his owner but came up empty. As a young dog, Midnight found it particularly challenging to adjust to the shelter environment, displaying signs of distress and anxiety.
However, amidst the uncertainty, one of our officers who was familiar with the case made sure to keep an eye on Midnight, when Midnight mental health started to decline she stepped up offering a short term foster for him. Giving him glimmer of hope amidst the challenging situation and providing a source of comfort during his time in the shelter.
The officer's heartfelt post about Midnight resonated with a vast audience, reaching a magnitude of people. Among them, someone from Tampa saw the viral plea for Midnight and came forward to adopt him.
Now, Midnight is thriving in his new home, a testament to the transformative power of fostering. Each foster not only saves a life but also has the potential to positively impact countless others, demonstrating the profound importance of providing temporary care and support to animals in need.
