Haven is looking for love this Valentines weekend. Could you be the one to fall in love with Haven?

Haven is a sweet 3-year-old boy weighing 63 pounds, ready to find his forever home. This handsome guy is full of love and charm, and while he’s still working on his leash manners (he’s a strong fellow!), he’s eager to learn and improve with the right guidance. Haven already knows the command “sit,” and treats are definitely the way to his heart! While squeaky toys catch his attention, he doesn’t show much interest in playing with toys or balls—he’s more about the love and attention from his humans. Haven would thrive as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and affection you have to give. He may also do well with a tolerant dog sibling, but slow and careful introductions on leash are a must. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready to bond deeply and bring joy to your home, Haven is your guy!

Meet Appa! This 3-year-old, 60-pound sweetheart is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. With medium energy, Appa loves a good game of fetch and enjoys playing with toys, making every day an adventure. He’s easy on the leash, happily trucking along while checking in with his human and sitting for eye contact in hopes of earning a treat. Appa is still working on his potty training, but with time and consistency, he’ll get the hang of it. After playtime, he’s more than happy to settle in for snuggles, seeking affection and enjoying quiet moments indoors. An easygoing boy with so much love to give, Appa is ready to find his forever home!

"Love is in the Air"

Hi, I’m Syrax, and I’m the ultimate people-loving dog! I absolutely adore humans—whether they’re big or small, I’m always ready for belly rubs and cuddles. My previous foster had young kids (ages 3 and 5), and I got along great with them. I’m super gentle and always eager for affection. Belly rubs? Yes, please! I’ll flop right over and soak up all the love you have to give. I’m proud to say I’m perfectly house-trained—no accidents ever in my previous foster home! Even when I wasn’t feeling my best, I didn’t let that stop me from being the good girl I am. I just love being with you! I passed my dog test with flying colors (treats and pets helped, of course), and while I have a cast for my broken leg right now, it doesn’t stop me from walking at a nice pace. I love being outside with you or cozied up at home! If you’re looking for a magical, sweet, and super affectionate companion, I’m the perfect fit for your family!

Meet Delores: A Survivor with a Heart Full of Love Empty-nester Delores is ready to start her next chapter. After raising 8 happy, healthy puppies who have all found their forever homes, it’s finally her turn. At about 2 years old and 45 lbs, Delores is housebroken, and crate trained. She’s making great strides with leash walking every day. Don’t let her serious-looking photos fool you—this sweet girl is playful and affectionate, and she loves her naps and chill time just as much as chasing a tennis ball (which she’ll even bring back for another toss!). Delores gets along well with her foster’s two “grumpy old man” dogs and would enjoy a fun-loving furry friend in her forever home. However, she’s perfectly content being the center of attention too. While her compatibility with cats is unknown, she’ll definitely keep your yard squirrel-free! Because of her playful nature, Delores would thrive in a home with older children who can match her energy and enjoy cozy snuggles afterward. A quiet, loving family with a yard to run in would be her dream come true. Delores has overcome incredible challenges, including being rescued from a squatter house with over 20 other dogs. Adoption Update on Kaladin!

I would like to thank you for this wonderful and loving addition to my family. Bruno(formally Kaladin) has adjusted well. It seems I was worried over nothing. My initial concern was if he and my springer spaniel, Coco would get along. As you can see from the photos attached they get along very well. Coco treats him like a little brother, and now they are inseparable. They LOVE a game of tug of war.

Bruno is also training to be a mobility support animal for my son. We'll see how that goes, as he is very smart, but also very very curious.

Once again thank you for caring for Bruno and all the animals that comes through the doors of the shelter. It takes a loving heart to do what you all do.

Hey there, potential paw-rents! I’m XYLO, a 64-pound bundle of joy and a two-year-old hunk of fluff ready to steal your heart (and maybe your socks). You might be wondering what makes me so special. Well, let’s just say I’m like a furry comedian—always ready to fetch a laugh and a ball!

I’m crate trained, which means I’m a pro at turning my crate into a cozy little den. I promise not to hold any potty parties in your home; I’m a well-mannered pup with impeccable bathroom etiquette!

Fetch? Oh boy, do I love it! I could chase a ball until the cows come home—though I might try to befriend the cows instead. My toy collection is my pride and joy. You’ll often find me juggling squeaky toys like a canine circus performer!

I know basic commands, which means I’m not just a pretty face; I’m also quite the brainiac. Need someone to impress your friends at dinner parties? I can sit, stay, and look adorable on command!

One day an amazing lady showed up to the shelter to drop off some donations. She then asked our staff if she could play the harp for some of the dogs. She wanted to see if this would help to calm them. We set up a chair and allowed her to play. What came next was so beautiful. One of the dogs actually ended up singing with her. I’m Drake, a 2-year-old bundle of energy with a personality as big as my love for fetch! Weighing in at 53 pounds, I’m the perfect size to be your adventure buddy, workout partner, and backyard champion.

My absolute favorite thing? Chasing toys and playing fetch! If you’ve got a ball, I’m your guy. I’m on the lookout for an active forever home where I can get plenty of exercise, attention, and, of course, treats—I take them oh-so-gently from your hand.

Kola can be your future best friend and professional tail-wagger! I’m a sweet 2-year-old gal weighing 38 pounds, and I’ve already mastered the art of making people smile.

Managed by LifeLine Animal Project, Fulton County Animal Services provides a humane environment for Fulton County’s homeless pets while enforcing the animal control laws of Fulton County, GA. We also provide other services such as veterinary care for our animals including spay/neuters, pet adoptions, pet reclaims, volunteer programs, foster home programs, rescue group coordination and other life-saving programs.

LifeLine Animal Project helps prevent unwanted pet litters through low-cost spay/neuter, helps make pet care affordable through low-cost and free vaccine clinics, saves the lives of special needs shelter animals through our rehabilitation facility, and saves feral cats through our trap-neuter-return program. As the managing organization for Fulton County Animal Services, LifeLine is making Atlanta a lifesaving community.
