Today marks the end of an incredible era. For over 26 years, Barefoot Mountain Farms has had the honor of bringing the very best Fraser fir Christmas trees to Atlanta. This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, and it is all thanks to YOU—our amazing customers.

Many of you reading this will remember my late husband Hal. He LOVED our farm and the christmas tree business. He has guided us from heaven as we continued the mission of Barefoot Mountain Farms. Providing premium trees, wreaths and garland but also providing FIRST CLASS SERVICE. Our customers were priority.

Your support, loyalty, and kind words over the years have meant the world to us. Every tree we sold came with our heartfelt gratitude, and every visit from you made this venture so special.

This morning, as I sip from my official Barefoot Mountain Farms coffee mug, the time has come and I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions. Pride in what we’ve built, joy from all the memories shared, and a bit of bittersweetness as we close this chapter.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Here’s to the memories, the traditions, and the legacy of Barefoot Mountain Farms. Cheers to all of you for making these 26 years so unforgettable.

After 26 unforgettable years, we are writing to share some bittersweet news: this will be Barefoot Mountain’s final season selling Christmas trees in Atlanta.

For over two decades, we have had the privilege of sharing the holiday spirit with multiple communities in Atlanta and the Southeast.

Our farm in Laurel Springs, NC is a special place with many years of “digging in the dirt.” We worked hard in corporate America to go play in the dirt whenever possible. The result of that “labor of love” were retail lots that became more than just a place to pick out a tree—they have been a gathering spot, a tradition, and, for many, a source of cherished memories.

We have also been honored to provide local kids with their first jobs, teaching them the value of hard work, responsibility, and the power of a courteous smile. As you all know, a SMILE makes the world a better place. Watching them grow and thrive has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

To all of you—our loyal customers and friends—thank you for your unwavering support, smiles, and stories. Your loyalty and kindness have been the heart of Barefoot Mountain, and we are deeply grateful for the role you have played in our lives.

We invite you to come by the lot at Chastain Park RED LOT and let us thank you one last time for all the wonderful memories.
