Another clutch hatched yesterday and today. The breeding was an Enchi Gravel bred by a Mojave Pastel Fire Gravel. I only hit two Super Gravels in the clutch but it looks like the hidden Hypo genes in my collection have struck again as one of the Super Gravels appears to be a Hypo. I will take that.

My Fourth clutch hatched over the last two days and there is an assortment of good looking animals in it! The breeding was a Pastel Mojave Enchi Yellow Belly High Intensity Orange Dream bred by a High Intensity Orange Dream Enchi possible Calico. I think after these shed and color up a bit they are going to be really nice.

Happy World Snake Day Everyone! This is my Pastel Yellow Belly Gene-X Pied that hatched out in 2018 with no eyes. He acts just like a normal Ball Python in every way and has even bred a few girls. He is the only one of my snakes that I consider a pet and he has no normal Ball Python shyness. He is my buddy.

This weekend (Saturday and Sunday July 13 &14) Atlanta Repticon returns to the Gwinnett Count Fairgrounds. I will be there with my long time partner Frank and his lovely wife Tiffany at our regular tables to the left of the restrooms in the main building. I will have my usual selection of pet to investment quality Ball Pythons. Frank will have his selection of Ball Pythons, a couple of Sumatran Black Short tailed Pythons, and possibly some of the great looking Womas he recently hatched. Tiffany will have her tumblers, pens, and her Axolotls on display. The show is 9:00 till 4:00 on Saturday and 10:00 till 4:00 on Sunday. Please stop by and say hello and buy something from the three of us. We look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces.

My first clutch crawled out yesterday and today. Four of the eggs went bad, one stillborn, and these two made it. Breeding was Super Orange Dream Enchi to a Black Head Mojave Enchi Yellow Belly Red Gene Ringer Gene. The one is really colorful but not the same as mom. I am going to give her the year off next season and try again the following season.

Clutch number six was seven good eggs from this Pastel Mojave Yellow Belly Orange Dream bred by a Barnhart line Black Pastel Calico Orange Dream Scrambler. There should be some incredible looking animals in this clutch.

Clutch number five was four good looking eggs from this Calico Het Paint to a Mogwai Yellow Belly Paint. I only witnessed one breeding with these two and they separated so quickly I never got a picture of them locked. This boy must be pretty potent and has fathered two clutches for the season with a very limited amount of breedings.

Clutch number three was five pretty good looking eggs from this Pastel Calico Het Paint to a Mogwai Yellow Belly Paint. This clutch was somewhat of a surprise. This girl was around 1300 grams and like I do every once in a while I introduced a male to her to get her eating again. She ate two more meals after the breeding but then quit so I stopped breeding her. I just found the wrapped around this clutch. Time will tell if it is good or not.

Clutch number two was eight beautiful eggs from this Orange Dream Yellow Belly girl bred by a Barnhart line Black Pastel Calico Orange Dream. I have been very lucky is obtaining additional genes before breeders had figured out the genetics in some of their animals. I am hoping this in another one of those times. I purchased the male from Chris Hernan in 2020 around the time he hatched out “El Diablo” and before he figured out the Scrambler gene. That would be a very nice bonus if by chance he does have the Scrambler gene but even if not this clutch should have some killer looking animals in it. The first picture is mom on the eggs and the second one is the male in question.

The first clutch of the year was five good eggs, one b**b egg, and one that already went bad from this Black Head Mojave Enchi Yellow Belly Red Gene girl bred to a Super Orange Dream Enchi. I am hoping to produce her with Orange Dream on top and I wouldn’t mind an extra Enchi gene also. I did the same breeding last season and missed so maybe this year I will hit it.

I am not sure which of these I like better the Super Enchi Fire Poss. Yellow Belly Super HI Orange Dream on the left or the Pastel Enchi Orange Dream Desert Ghost on the right? Both are in my hold back rack.

All of this rain we are getting here in the Atlanta area is good for one thing, getting the snakes to breed. Out of seven pairings I did yesterday morning all but two have been locked up together including this Super Orange Dream Pastel Enchi Yellow Belly girl being bred by a visual Paint. I have to get some Orange Dream into my Paint project and this breeding would do the trick.
