Congratulations to Thor for being our Member of the month! She loves coming to daycare all the time, and her favorite thing is making friends with all of the new dogs and welcoming them into the pack! We enjoy having Thor in our small dog yard here at Doguroo!

Duke is a three year old, 70 pound lab mix that was adopted from one shelter and returned to another a few weeks later when the landlord told the owner he couldn’t have a dog. They were in the process of sending him back to the original shelter, which is protocol, but due to space, they were going to have to put him down. The staff from both shelters loved Duke and begged us to take him.
He was lucky to get a foster and they say that he is a sweet dog that has manners and seems to have been in a home. He's a little shy initially, but quickly warms up. He’s a young lab, so he’ll do best with older kids and will need training, especially with leash manners. Duke loves other dogs, and loves to play. He's also fine with dog-savvy cats. He's house-trained and goes easily into the crate with treats.

Brodie is a three month old shepherd mix puppy that was adopted from one shelter, and three weeks later, turned into another shelter because he “growled at the parents, unprovoked, and can’t risk a bite to small children.” Really???? It’s a puppy!!!
We have him now, and he’s a great puppy that is house trained, crate trained, and even good with the kids and the other dogs in the house.
This poor guy is three months old and has already been in two shelters. He deserves better and if you would like to foster to adopt Brodie, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com to fill out an application.
