CongRATS 🥳 to the Bahr Family of California with thier first CaliRats additions Rusty 💛🤍🐶🐾 from our StellaxCheech Woodstock 1969 Litter 5-31-2025.

Although this is not her first Rat Terrier, she has raised others.
She is so excited for more joy, love, laughs, & loyalty again!

Shelley and Rusty are now on their way to Roseville, Ca to a house 🏡 filled with love cuddles laps and new adventures 🫶🏻 awaits this sweet boy and his new Family.

Big thank you to our wonderful partner in crime Melissa Dillon & Joseph Dillon always delivers safely with excellent care and love.

We wish you much Joy, Love ❤️ & making memories with this sweet baby boy ! Looking forward to watching him living their best life with a wonderful family and a🏡 filled with love 🤗

We are personally affected like many across America 🇺🇸 and saddened 😭by this heartbreaking 💔 tragedy.

We decided to honor Charlie Kirk’s assignation with our flag at half staff. Asking the people of our faith & our fellow Americans 🇺🇸 who believe this was an unnecessary act of violence for free speech to please keep his family in prayer.

BITTERSWEET FOR CaliRats Terriers final placements.
Making our decisions about our programs reconstruction has been a difficult one for us both , needing to downsize but still keeping some of our best assets to move forward for y’all.

This is never easy for us breeders to let go of our babies who have been loyal and loving parents. However we have been beyond blessed with the wonderful families that have adopted them🫶🏻🐾🐶 joining our family.

With my partner/besties visit these last few days have been very emotional for us both.
She placed her final one Ryker 🖤🤍 here in Texas with a wonderful family, then me sending Sister 🤎🤍 & Johnny 💙🤍 to Camp California to further their careers with beautiful puppies 🐶 🐾

We are confident this is the right decision for all concerned and are looking forward to more blessings to come sharing our love for the breed 🙌

Also on his first leg of his adventures heading to his forever ♾️ home 🏡 in California Rusty 💛🤍🐾🐶 is so excited to meet his forever family the Bahr’s in Roseville Ca

💯 FACTS We here at CaliRats agree with; We are our pets biggest and only advocate to avoid unnecessary vaccinations in charge of their diets and spay/neuter procedures.
Please do your research and educate yourself on this and more new information about your fur babies care for longevity in life.

In conclusion, this study shows that the risk of cranial cruciate ligament disease in dogs is linked to how long they are exposed to natural s*x hormones, and the relationship isn’t simple or linear. The highest risk was seen when females were spayed before about 1054 days (just under 3 years) and males before about 805 days (a little over 2 years). These results may help define what counts as “early” spay or neuter when it comes to cranial cruciate ligament disease risk.

Veterinary reproduction specialists now recommend hormone-preserving sterilization: preventing unwanted litters & less risk of torn cruciates.
