We have had a horrible thing to happen at 5a to get the truck and get on the road to McDonough this am. Someone has broken into the Catsnip Truck trashed the inside, stole money and worse of all broken the back door to where it will not close and broke the glass to the driver's side window to get in and trash the cab. Gwinnett Co Police came immediately and their CSI Dept to dust the back of the truck and cab .We will have to reschedule clinics the next few days to have time to replace the window and the back door that has to be custom made. Please please be patient and kind to us while we work through the repairs and feeling of loss and violation. We try to put good out there in this world by helping people and their fur babies. It shows how ugly this world has become. If you are able to donate to help us with repairs and replacement of supplies needed for surgery it would be so greatly appreciated. Hi everyone! We wanted to please ask for your patience. Our business manager that handles the emails and calls behind the scenes, has been personally affected by the devastating Tornados (5 F3 and 2 that didn't hit the ground in Griffin). She has no power, internet, etc at her apartment .Hotels are hard to come by or locations with working Wifi. We are multi talented at Catsnip. A group of 4, 2 day olds came to White Co Animal Control without mom. 🥺 While Dr House, with Feral Cat Program of GA was taking them into her program but in surgery with us, babies needed to be tended to. So we grab a gown, gloves, KMR and some miracle ni***es and got to feedin. All 4 latched on and took 3cc and passed out with full bellies.❤️

This year we have had a lot to be thankful for. One being this little guy. If you follow us then you probably know Hiccup. He was found on someone's front porch with his foot missing. He was brought to Jasper County Animal Control and they were faced with a difficult decision, whether to try and find help or euthanize him. The workers at the animal control contacted our owner, Renee and of course she offered our help. We took him in a removed the rest of his leg and got him on so many medications and supplements to try and get him better. He was fostered by our tech Autumn and then eventually made his way to his next foster and forever home with Hannah and Chandler. He has truly become a happier and healthier version of who he use to be. Hiccup may of been the first kitty we have helped with our non profit but he certainly won't be the last.

We hope to help more people at the Holiday season next year. ❤️🎄

Right before Christmas the Catsnip family were able to help out another person in the community. Every year we pick animal controls, rescues, or individual people to help out as a part of our annual give back. This year we helped out a lovely lady who rescued around 30 cats which we help fix all of her females. It was a great way to start our holiday and we love being able to do great work, free of charge, for our community.

Sometimes animal shelters are overcrowded and Catsnip Cares will donate alters to get them ready for adoption because time is very precious for some and helps them find good homes easier.
