One of our most famous office pups, McCoy, finally got adopted! ❤️ This teddy bear was very much a people's dog, always bringing laughter and joy with his bright personality.

We will miss you, McCoy, but we're so much happier knowing you'll have a place to call home. ✨️ You've left paw prints on all of our hearts, and we can't wait to see updates from your new family!

Polar Bear has found his new home.

This is what his adopter stated about their new found match : 'Polar bear has become my second son and a sibling to my two year old son. He came home with us and immediately felt at home. He loves to sleep at the foot end of my bed at night. And in the daytime he loves to push my son’s race cars across the living room floor. Getting him was the best decision I made for my small family.'

Stories like this remind us why adoption matters. Congratulations to Polar Bear and his amazing family! 🐱💛

We're hoping to find those willing to open their heart to a new best friend. Panasonic is a cuddler and loves to meet new dog friends. He's described as loyal and affectionate.

If that sounds like a match. Visit our LifeLine Community Animal Center at 3180 Presidential Drive Atlanta, GA 30340, or email our adoptions team at [email protected].

Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man whose dream of equality and compassion inspires us all.

While LifeLine Animal Project is closed today, we encourage you to reflect on his message of kindness and how we can extend that to all beings, people and animals alike.

Pictured: A pup carrying the message forward "I had a dream" at Martin's funeral.

We’ll reopen tomorrow to continue our mission of making Atlanta a lifesaving community for pets. Thank you for your support!

It may be winter, but Cici is living her best life! She was recently adopted and went straight to the beach 🌊, soaking up the salty air and sunshine.

Now, she spends her days playing in the backyard with her new sister, Coco, proof that dreams really do come true!

There are currently 524 dogs in our shelter, and we need to be at 510 or fewer by next Tuesday at 8pm. All adoptions are still just $25 for the rest of January! Not ready to adopt? We also offer a variety of foster programs so you can experience what it’s like to have a shelter pup in your home. Visit us today to make a difference at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

Our current dog population is well below our target goal of 375. Having less dogs in care is making a world of difference for our pups! With fewer dogs, we can provide larger kennel spaces for some, more focused care, and extra walks, snuggles, and enrichment. This wouldn’t be possible without our incredible fosters who stepped up during the winter weather and who continue to help now.

Want to learn more about how you can help? Visit our website to see how you can volunteer, foster, or adopt through Lifeline.

Ready to adopt? Don’t miss our $25 adoption special through January! Meet our lovable dogs in person and find your new best friend. We’re open every day-your perfect match is waiting!
