Our sweet Alii Kai has earned her final rest. She has welcomed countless dogs into her home since 2013. Trained so many puppies, and me.

It's time to reveal Grant Park Dog's Delight's big secret. Samma wasn't a dog person until we adopted Alii.

We are heartbroken, devastated and inconsolable.

Alii would have been 14 in September. She had cancer all throughout her lungs and and large growth on her heart. Laps of Love helped her transition peacefully here at home this morning.

Rang in 2025 with friends, spaghetti and meatballs and a great crew of regulars.

None of them even flinched for our practice howl, but Alii gave it a token effort at midnight.

Hi! LTNS!

We're still hosting dogs through Rover, but are only accepting existing clients. Our sweet Alii turned 12 today.

She has more grey in her face, arthritis in her hips just like me, and is less excited to have a house full of boisterous puppies, but she still loves a good romp and appreciates having guest dogs come visit.

She also loves traveling and exploring new places on our RV treks.
