While the doggos pictured are "just models" unfortunately the Atlantic Animal Shelter was near capacity. 😞 It makes him very sad that these critters won't be getting a Christmas with a family. A joint program between the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Animal Science in Iowa State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences has been established with the goal of educating more veterinarians who wish to practice production animal medicine.

The program, Production Animal – Veterinary Early Acceptance Program (PA-VEAP), will recruit and retain future veterinarians to practice production animal medicine, primarily in underserved areas in Iowa and throughout the United States.

Today Is our 1st fall feral /barn cat colony clinic. Please contact us if you have feral or barn cats that are in need of being spayed or neutered, help us control the population. We have 2 more clinics this month August 24th and the 30th. We offer this at a discounted price of 90 for females and 55 for males, this includes the procedure, rabies, ear cleaning, ear notch and pain medication. We can be reached at 712-243-3036

The sizes range from childrens S-L and adults S-XL (2X-5X is available with an additional fee) T-shirts in the orange or charcoal color are $19.00 each. Long sleeve charcoal is also available for $22.00 each. 100% of proceeds will benefit the Cats of Cass County!! Orders must be placed by August 19th, 2023.
