Sometimes the huge senior citizen dogs get special treatment… leg over top to feel “hugged”, staying on the floor, and you get to choose the position… the groomer has to just work with whatever they can get! lol

There’s only so much blending you can do without risking sunburn after a home DIY haircut 🤭 soooo many owners try it once…. Most never try again 🥰 I think this little puppy is leaving looking pretty cute tho! Also love that the owners were asking advice on hair care for this babe, makes my heart so happy when owners care so much about their dogs! Dont ever hesitate to ask your groomer about soaps, brushes, sprays, tips or tricks… the better you take care of your dogs fur the easier it is for us! 😘

It’s a good thing I don’t get paid for my picture taking skills 😝 Pumpkin here is only on her second groom so she’s still getting the hang of having scissors in her face ✂️ but she’s getting the hang of grooming pretty well!

When people tell me their dog is difficult, I always wonder if it could be as difficult as this one…..😝 But where there’s a will there’s a way! The second I put down my tools and he comes out of the sling his tail is back to wagging 🥰 gotta figure out how to get him to be as sweet on the table as he is off of it 🤔

One of many nice things about taking fewer clients, means I get to spend extra time with each dog. I don’t rush through each groom to get to the next client. I let your dogs just stop to be curious about all the hair on the floor, (like this one was) I teach them that the blow dryer isn’t as scary as it sounds, if they seem to need a break I’ll let them have one. My love for dogs is the reason I got into grooming, and I absolutely love getting to know all your fur babies personalities! Being able to take my time with each one is so special to me! ❤️

This little 3 month old puppy had his first groom today and thoroughly enjoyed yanking his face away while trimming it lol 😝 but hey, he can see now!

This boy gets a full deshedding treatment every month and I still get ridiculous amounts of hair off him! I think I got the worst shedding short haired dog there is lol 😆

When this pretty boy was done he grabbed his leash to take himself home lol

Owners did not want anything trimmed off just clean and all brushed out! This farm dog had a ton of hair come out of him tho and it took some WORK! ❤️ 😅

Did some puppy nail trims, and then helped with a puppy photo shoot 📸 these little frenchie babes were sooo sweet! 😍 but man it’s hard to get 6 (10 day old) babys to cooperate all at once!

Forgot the before picture, so here’s one after the bath 🛁 this was her first ever groom so we took things nice and slow. While she wasn’t a fan of being dried (especially around the head) we were able to work our way into it till she was comfortable with everything I was doing. May have taken a little longer than normal, but having a good first grooming experience is worth taking the extra time 🥰 🐕
