Good evening! Just a friendly reminder, Dr English is still very present here at the clinic. It's been brought to our attention numerous times of comments that state" he's" no longer with English Vet Care or that hes retired. Those statements are untrue. We just wanted it to be known he's here and still taking care of your babies you've all trusted us with. He's still our surgical and managing Dr and still tends to his large animal calls on Fridays. We all have come to the conclussion you can not trust everything you see and hear, especially on social media. So what better way to eleminate rumors than posting from our page a bit of truth. Good afternoon. We are in the process of swapping our phone carrier. Please bare with us as we are trying our best to get these going! In the meantime, if you get a busy signal please keep in mind you can text our office at 901-837-8413. Also, while in this process, when we call yall it very well may show as 901-520-6555 calling in rather than our regular office number. If you miss a call from us, PLEASE call our normal number back. Not the 6555. If you have any questions please let us know! We know our phone lines have been a headache in the past but we truly hope this makes a positive difference!! Did you know temperatures above 85°F are too hot for your pets outside for long. You can take precautions to keep yputpooch safe, like checking the pavement with the back of your hand. If it's too hot for you then it's also too hot for them. Keep your pets with plenty of shade and lots of water.

The 4th of July can be stressful for pets due to loud noises, bright lights, and crowd of people. Here are some tips to keep your pets safe this 4th of July..
•Bring them inside
It's best to keep pets in during fire work celebration. If you can't leave them unattended, keep them leased and under your direct control.
• Ceate a safe space
Before the fireworks start, create a safe space and escape proof space for them. You can try
• lower the blinds and close windows
• provide a comfy bed or crate
• offer a special toy or chew to keep them distracted
• turn on TV or radio to mask any noises.
• use an anti-anxiety wrap or medication to keep them calm.
KEEP THEM IDENTIFIED
Make sure all your pets are wearing collar with identification tags with a current number. Or have them microchip.

We would like to announce or 2nd annual "BARK MADNESS" March 13th one day only. The first pet will be full price $141.00 and each pet after that will be half off $70.50 . This will be for dogs only for yearly shots. You may not bring more than four pets. If you are bringing more than one pet they must be all under one account in order to receive the discount. Your pet will receive an overall exam. However, we will not be seeing pets for any illnesses such as checking ears, possible UTI's, injuries, and etc. This will only be a general wellness exam. If your pet is experiencing any issues then you will have to schedule an appointment for a different day. Heartworm test will not be included in the Barkmadness special. Heartworm will be full price of $59. Heartworm test can be done during your visit. This is a one day special. Appointments are required as we only have limited availability. This an excellent deal for those of you who have multiple pets. We look forward to seeing your pets! Please call the clinic at (901)837-8413 to schedule your appointment. Hurry appointments are filling up fast!

We are excited to announce our 1st ever coggins day here at English Vet Care.
We will be doing 3 days of discounted coggins and vaccinations.
Along side with Dr English we will have our extern that will be assisting that day and with a meet and greet.

The dates will be as followed
Ripley/Halls -March 8th
Woodstock- March 9th
Covington Barn- March 15th

Please call the clinic prior and ask for Kelley (901) 837-8413. So we can have a head count on vaccinations that we need to pre-order.
In order to receive a discounted price on the vaccinations you will have to have all 4 of your horses done that day.
The prices will be listed as following

All COGGINS @ $15.00 per horse

EWT/West Nile (1-3) @ $52.00
(4+) @ $42.00

RHINO FLU- (1-3) @ $40.00
(4+) @ $30.00
