Certainly could have been a better weekend, but we learned a lot and have homework for the winter. Tessa is finally using her hindquarters when working cows. Now to get her head down, and it should all come together. She's quite the powerful and feisty mare, so it's no surprise it doesn't come easily.😑

In my program, prioritizing headset and softness in the bridle lays the groundwork for a horse to properly carry itself and progress further. In this video, Chaos learns about pressure and release. This concept also applies to turns, where the horse must follow its nose through the turn without resistance. I'm excited for this beautiful boy's future, as we have much to learn!

Let's give a big welcome to Metallic Vegas, also known as Chaos, a 2 year old with a proud legacy - he's an own son of Meltallic Malice out of the famous Metallic Cat! I'm honored to have him in my program and excited to see him grow and thrive. He’s green broke under saddle so we have a lot to learn still.
