Ohh how I woke with a heart missing the beautiful characters in this book. That is how I know it was a GREAT book! Such a sweet story of perseverance, friendship, and believing in oneself. The illustrations wrap you up into the story. This would be a great read aloud to children. I loved every word. So, so good! Happy Reading ya’all!!

I've had difficulty in the past, almost year, to be able to focus enough to read a complete book.(hence this long absence) I'm not sure if it was because I did not like anything I started to read or if my mind was elsewhere...anyone else have this problem? Fast forward to now and I am so happy to say I have turned the page...literally! I'm back to ferocious reading! Thanks to the book, "The Last Diving Horse in America." Written by Cynthia A. Branigan. Recently, I started to volunteer at an animal sanctuary where I feed horses that were abused. To be honest I'm more of a dog person but I have always found an admiration for these gorgeous animals. I am also a huge supporter in helping animals in need so this book rolls all of that into a story that kept me turning page after page. I never knew about diving horses so that history was very interesting as well. The author wrote the story that is a biography yet it had a flow like a fiction novel. If you love horses, animals, and history you have got to read this book. Happy Reading!
