Your vigilance is your pet's only defense against holiday hazards!

During celebrations, your pet's entire safety net consists solely of your careful planning and protective measures. Unlike human children, who can understand explanations, your pets rely completely on your protective instincts to shield them from dangers they cannot comprehend!

Your consistent vigilance is quite literally their lifeline during these overwhelming celebrations!

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Emma Schmit, who will be officially joining the Attleboro Animal Care Center team in July 2025! Dr. Schmit brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for veterinary medicine, having recently earned her DVM from the University of Illinois.

Originally from Naperville, Illinois, Dr. Schmit has also called Hopkinton, Massachusetts, and Budapest, Hungary, home. Her diverse background and love for animals, especially cats, make her a wonderful addition to our practice. In her free time, she enjoys reading historical novels, watching documentaries, and visiting history and art museums.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Schmit on board and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our patients and community. Please help us welcome her by leaving a comment below!

🔦 National Pet Preparedness Month is the perfect time to create a blackout kit for your furry family!

Include glow sticks (safer than candles around curious pets), pet-safe battery-powered nightlights, extra LED collar lights, and comfort items.

Remember that routine changes and strange shadows can increase anxiety during power outages. Keep pets contained in one room to prevent escapes if doors or windows need to be opened for ventilation. ⚡🐈🐕
