Just an FYI, we will be updating this on our website as well.

We are not a first come, first served animal shelter. If you submit an application, please do not wait for us to respond. We receive numerous emails per day. We rely heavily on the ones that show up. No need for appointments, just come in during adoption days/times.

Saturday 11a to 3p
Sunday 11a to 1p
Wednesday 6p to 8p

Every dog that gets adopted, goes on a home visit (it's part of our process). We travel to Rhode Island and South Eastern MA. Please keep that in mind when coming to visit.

To all our previous adopters and the future ones, we do appreciate your understanding of our process.

RUBY UPDATE
Ruby has Acid Reflux.
We do believe the mucus and congestion is related to the acid reflux. She fights hard to keep it all down but on occasion she will still throws it up even while on Pepcid.

Ruby went to the Vet today, she still has not put on any weight, although she is maintaining her weight and has not lost any. Her white blood count is also up again so we have her on an antibiotic again and doc prescribed pancreatic plus to see if that will help her absorb her food and start putting on weight. Even with these things going on, her energy gets more playful and energetic every day and is still very very food motivated.

The City's Rabies Vaccine Clinic is this Saturday March 22nd from 9 AM - 12 PM at the Water Pumping Station at 1296 West St. For $15 you can get a rabies vaccine for your dog, cat or ferret. Please note, this event is cash only. You do NOT need to be an Attleboro resident for the vaccine.

The Clerks office is partnering with the clinic and giving early licenses to dogs who get vaccinated! Spayed and neutered dogs are $10 for the license, in-tact dogs are $20. If your dog was not licensed in the previous year, you will be charged a $25 late fee. In order to get the license, please bring proof of spay/neuter with you. You will be given a rabies certification at the clinic..
You MUST be an Attleboro resident for dog licensing

ALL dogs MUST be on Leash and under your control at all times!
ALL Cats and Ferrets MUST be in a secure carrier at all times!

We want to thank everyone who attended our 18th Annual Fur Ball last night! Your continued support is the only way we can keep doing what we love, saving animals is our passion!

We made a few changes at this year's event. The biggest one was bringing all our sales to a new Fundraising platform. Thank you all for your patience as this was our first roll-out.

We had a blast and hope you did too!!

Let's introduce you to Will. He arrived to us as a stray and nobody called on this good boy! At around 8 years old, he finds himself in need of a new home. Im sure he gave his prior family tons of love and we find it hard to understand why not 1 person has called. He doesn't deserve this!

Will is well-behaved, flashy brindle tiger like stripes and just loves to love! He handles himself well on leash, knows his basic commands. All he asks for in return is love and commitment!

I do get the sense that he has some separation issues, he simply wants and needs to be with his people. Stop by during adoption and tell them Will sent you!!!
