Duration involves making a continued good decision and not working off an aroused mindset. This drill is especially important for dogs like Lucy and will get easier and easier for her.

Pirata is doing much better with his engagement during walks. Using a combination of leash pressure, direction changes, sudden stops, and food rewards, he's paying more attention to me and less to the goings on around him. The more engagement he gives, the more rewarding it is for him.
