Happy back to school 🏫 to all our friends and families! I hope that the chaos isn’t too to bad, that the clothes bill wasn’t too high (trust me I’m right there with you!), that adjusting to new routines and schedules isn’t too demanding, and I hope you ALL have a wonderful start to another year of learning, growing and achieving!!! Our furry family members are going back to school too, just look at their pics! Too cute! If you’d like YOUR pup to have their back to school photo, make sure you get in before the end of the month!!!! 🐾 💜 🌸 🐩

Hi guys! I know I’ve said this again and again, but I’m gonna keep reiterating. In the last two years we have exploded in size, both facility space, client base, salon amenities etc. Which is GREAT! But it also means that we’ve reached a point where I can no longer take new large dogs for Saturday appointments, and if it’s a small dog, it’ll prob be a decent amount of weeks before I can make a Saturday appointment happen. In the past, weekday appointments were usually not that hard to acquire. Now, we stay booked out around 3 weeks. Sometimes a little more. Sometimes a little less. But typically. So please understand if you contact us/me, for an appointment, it isn’t going to be within a few days. So I’d ask you plan accordingly and either make sure we prebook your appointment at pick up or be aware that an appointment made today will prob be 2-3 weeks down the line. I totally get if that doesn’t work for everyone and I am super sorry. This is just reality at the moment. One I’m so thankful for but hate people having to wait. Thank you again to all our wonderful clients. Ya’ll are the best!

Happy summer time everyone!

It’s hot out, which means the phones are ringing offfff the hook! We are currently and will most likely stay 2-3 weeks out on appointments during the summer months. If you’re an established client, PLEASE consider pre booking your next appointment when you pick up, or set up your next one NOW before the doggos get too far gone and panic 🙀 sets in.

We are booking for June 16 on at the moment and Saturdays are mid July. If you’re a new client, please understand we are a high demand salon who’s open 7 days a week, doing as many grooms a day as we can, while ensuring safety and high quality service are always the highest priority. We never want to jeopardize either of those things, in order to get more dogs in, or get them done faster. All pets are different, some are old, matted, more difficult, super friendly, etc, and all of those variables determine how fast a groom can go.

In addition to bathing, drying, grooming, there’s also check ins, check outs, walk in clients with questions or nail trims, dogs that have potty accidents that have to be cleaned up, dogs who hate the dryer, phone calls, adding bows/bandanas, taking pictures and much more, and all of those things contribute to the time it takes to get your doggo back to you safe and happy! So we ask for grace with how long it takes to get everything done.

In conclusion, please please please, pre book your appointments, or just be aware that it will be 2-3 weeks before we can get you in. I do keep a cancellation list that I call off of, which anyone is welcome to go on, just let me know! Thank you again to our wonderful clients for being so understanding! You guys are the absolute best and we are so blessed to have so many of you! While I hate having to make people wait, I’m also eternally thankful to be so busy. Thank you again and again!!!

Hello everyone! I’m out of the salon today till 5/15, with my daughter at her competition in Florida. Diane will still be in and out on varying days to do her appointments. BUT if I delay in responding to your calls or messages, this is why! We are waiting for our room to be ready, and as soon as it is and we unpack, I will try and get back to everyone I can today and check in as often as possible while I’m here. All NEW and CURRENT clients please read:

Hey ya’ll! So, I have the same summer time recommendation for you guys I always have. As it warms up, we get progressively more and more booked up. Right now I’d say we are consistently 2 to 2 1/2 weeks out at a time.

Ill be out of the shop from 5/8-15 on a trip with my little, so that’s complicating things, but Diane will still be working to get you guys taken care of when she can. The warning / suggestion I have is, IF you get your pup groomed regularly, please please please try and PREBOOK your following appointment when you leave your next one. This makes my life easier knowing what I’m looking at work wise, and easier for you not noticing “Fifi” is looking cray cray and I’m out 3 weeks. We don’t want that!

So to avoid it, I just ask you prebook IF you can. If you can’t, totally get it. Just a suggestion to make everything run smoother for all of us and you not be stuck needing an appointment and having to wait for one. It always makes me feel awful and I end up working 6-7 days a week to get everyone in 😂 this is NO one’s fault but mine, I just hate people having to wait! But with the business superrrrrrr busy I can’t do that as often as I want to. So prettttttttttty please, prebook IF and WHEN you can. You’re welcome to book, 2, 3, as many as you want ahead of time! I always remind you the night before. No matter how far ahead it is. Thank you all for being the best clients ever!!!

The warm weather is on its way… that means we book up fast! Currently for weekdays we’re about 2 weeks out, Saturdays are approx 1 month, Sundays with miss diane are around 2 weeks out. So please please plan ahead, and whenever you can, pre book your NEXT appointment when you check out. That way you know you have a spot and not have to panic when six weeks from then, your furry friend is looking like a wookie and can’t get an appointment for 2-3 weeks 😆 thank you all for understanding! We’re doing as many as we can daily, while ensuring that it’s still a safe amount. We never want to rush, as that leads to accidents. Remember, a slow and steady groom, while it may take a little longer, is in the best interest of the pup and their groomer.

For Christmas we had two VERY different themes! First up was a very pink Christmas! Full of silver and pale pink with splashes of white and green. One of my top picks for the year. On the other side a more traditional Christmas theme. Red, green, white! Classic Santa’s, trees and a letter mailbox. It was definitely a hit!

Saturday appointment update:

I can no longer take any new LARGE haircut dogs on Saturdays. The spots have been filled for the year. If you’re a current client, have a large dog who gets haircuts, and need weekends, please contact me asap so we can see what we can do. I do have some random Sundays I’m working. But for Saturdays, the pre booked large dog haircut spots are currently full for the 2024 year. IF this changes for any reason I’ll let you all know.

Being one groomer I can only do so many larger dogs a day, and being that they’re mixed in with 8-10 small/mediums, I have to make sure it’s not too overbooked. Thank you for understanding. Weekdays are still fine. Right now we’re booked out a few days ahead but nothing crazy. Thank you again!!!

Feeling very blessed today. We’ve had approx 10 new client appointments booked today. Thats really rare in January as it’s a very slow time of year. So so grateful to all of you who continue to trust us with your furry family, and reccomend us to your human friends and family. So many of our calls start with “so and so gave me your number” which is a really cool feeling! So thank you again to all of you both past and new, you guys are the absolute best clients a gal could ask for!

Oh, before I forget! I wanted to comment on the Saturday appointment situation. Many of my regular Saturday clients have already booked their 2024 appointments. For the next few months I am at capacity on large haircut dogs on Saturdays. IF you need / want to book out your appointments for the weekend, and have a large haircut dog, you’ll need to do a weekday appointment and then prebook the rest. I cannot promise a certain number of weeks or time of day on those. I can only do so many large a day, due to kennel space and over all how long they take, wear and tear on my old body 😆 and dry time. If this pertains to you and you have any questions, please shoot me a text 209-585-9166 and I will get back to you tomorrow (Monday) evening or Tuesday morning at the shop, depending on how much time I have available. Happy early new year’s to all!!!

I wanted to update everyone on our Saturday appointment situation. Currently they are still booking out 6-8 weeks, but I will also warn that people are booking their appointments for the YEAR, for Saturdays. I am confident we will reach a point this year where I won’t be able to take any new Saturday clients. Bath dogs are different but full haircut dogs will be full. I can only do so many large dogs / doodles per day, so once a Saturday reaches that amount, I am not be able to add more and will have to look for other days.

If you have Saturday appointment(s) but CAN come during the week, I encourage you to do so. It’s less chaotic, the time in the salon is less and you can usually make an appointment 7-10 days prior instead of 8 weeks.

I am so incredibly proud of the growth of the salon this past year and want to ensure we can continue to service everyone and their pets to the best of our ability. I am throwing this out there so if it’s the case that you only can do Saturdays, I would suggest booking at least the next 2, now, to make sure you have a spot.

Happy Holidays to all!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I, as in Ashley, am full from now till Christmas. Diane still has some openings 12/11 12/17 and 12/18. I WILL be making a cancelation list for those who would like to get in before Christmas. To get it on it, just shoot me a text.

If you are good to wait till after the holiday but still want your Christmas picture, the backdrop will remain up till 12/31. I always change them on the 1st of the month.

This year has been one of the most transformative of my life. From buying the shop, to adding tons of new equipment, expanding into more space, adding more equipment, building a solid, wonderful clientele, I am feeling highly blessed and favored this Christmas season. I am forever grateful and indebted to those of you who time and time again entrust the care of your fur babes to me. I don’t take a single one of you for granted, and I appreciate you all immensely. I hope everyone has a fabulous winter break and Christmas! Then it’s onto 2024 where the sky’s the limit with what we can all dream and accomplish. I truly believe that!!!!

Hello my beautiful people! We’ve had a few clients inquire about the new respiratory condition going around the doggo world, so I wanted to address what we’re doing to ward against it, what you can do to help prevent it, etc.

In my salon, we have always done the following and will continue with our do so. We sanitize EVERY kennel each morning and evening with BestShot 256 disinfectant. It kills literally everything from parvo to bortadella to rabies to canine coRONA virus etc. We mop morning and evening with a bleach solution, also ensuring any doggy accidents are cleaned up with Clorox and then mopped. My kennels do not allow dogs to see / touch / interact / breathe on one another. They’re solid on all sides but the front, ensuring they’re contact with other dogs is extremely limited. They DO believe this is airborn, we don’t know details yet, so the barriers between them, while it helps, isn’t foolproof. As an added layer of protection from the airborn part is using heavy filters in our AC / heater system. I microban all surfaces multiple times a day and in between dogs in the kennels. All trays & grates are bleached nightly. (We also clean all the tubs with bleach cleaner!) Dogs are not given water bowls unless specifically requested and they NEVER share water or anything else other than with dogs in their family. Lastly, getting your dogs back to you as quickly as I can, also helps.

What we ask of you, to help us out, is if you’re dogs are being boarded at any time, that you wait two weeks after the boarding ends, to come in for grooming. And I do mean boarding out, not in your own home. If your dog has been sneezing, coughing, has snot, seems lethargic, just common sense “the doggo seems kinda sick” vibes, please please reschedule. It’s not worth it for anyone to risk it for the pup to get a haircut. It can wait till they’re well. Thank you in advance for understanding.

The holidays are COOCOO amounts of busy. Please be patient with me as I promise I’m working as fast as I can to get your dogs back to you, safely, and looking their best. If you call or text during the day and don’t hear back immediately, I’m actively grooming, and I will get back to you at the end of the day.

Thank you all for the BEST year ever. I’m feeling so incredibly blessed. It’s been a whirlwind, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my amazing clientele. I appreciate each and every one of you, immensely. I’ve been able to expand the shop, add new and better equipment, and over all just offer an even better experience when you bring your doggos in to see me. For that, I am eternally grateful! Thank you again and again! Now, I’m gonna kick this holiday rush’s b***y!

Holiday Appointments FYI:

The week before thanksgiving I am working the 20th, 21st and 22nd. Currently I have 4 appointments left for the 20th, 4 left for the 21st and 1 small dog appointment left for the 22nd. The Saturday following Thanksgiving has one remaining spot.

As for Christmas, I’m working 12/19-23. The 23rd is already full. 12/19-22 is still looking pretty good on availability BUT it WILL book quickly, so please, if you want in the week of Christmas, do not wait to make the appointment. You will not get one if you delay till a week or two ahead. These go fast 💨

I have posted on here before that I will be out of the shop 12/14-18, but just reminding everyone. To make up for those lost days, I will be working 12/4, 12/10 (one small dog spot left) and 12/11. This should be enough spaces to get everyone who wants in, in.

This sweet girl is in need of a home. I don’t have a lot of details on shots fixed etc. Owner was neglecting her. No water no food. Outside with no shelter in small enclosure. So someone took her away but cannot keep long term. I agreed to help with placement. All I know is she seems very sweet and well mannered. Wasn’t jumping or barking. Happy tail and very social.
