⭐Puppy Spotlight!⭐

Meet Mandy!!

Mandy is a playful and confident puppy! She is very people-focused, tolerates all touch and is not sensitive to sounds or sudden movements. She loves to chase after balls like her mom (great hunting-dog potential!). Mandy's confidence, people-focus and non-sensitivity to sights/sounds also make her a great candidate for a therapy dog or just a buddy to take out and about! ❤️

💕 6 week vet appointment today! Round one vaccinations ✔️ Clean bill of health ✔️
💕 New toys and expanded play area!
💕 Puppies are weaned. Soaked kibble 3 times a day is on the menu 😋
💕 Nails clipped yet again
💕 Daily handling exercises. George and Mandy are very tolerant of all touch 🥰
💕 Crate training has begun
💕 New sound exposures

What have the puppies been up to??
♥️Daily handling exercises
♥️Nails clipped (again!)
♥️No more puppy mush! George and Mandy have graduated to softened kibble
♥️Lots of new toys! Slide, wobble board, chew toys and stuffies
♥️George and Mandy are ⭐ROCKSTARS⭐ at using the potty trays. Such smart puppies!
♥️They are down to nursing one time per day. Mama Remi will be returning to her guardian family on Saturday while George and Mandy remain with us until they're 8 weeks old.

What have the puppies been up to??

❄️ENS and ESI are complete! We have moved on to daily handling exercises.
❄️Nails trimmed ✔️✔️
❄️Puppies have moved to their big puppy pen. Litter training has begun!
❄️Toys!! The puppies have started playing with each other and toys ❤️
❄️Sound exposure has begun... Vacuums, hammers, whistles, gunshots and fireworks are a few sounds we expose them to.
❄️Puppy mush has been introduced. Mama Remi is able to spend more time away from the puppies because she doesn't have to nurse her puppies as often!

Happy birthday to Remi's puppies! One girl and one boy 💙🩷

The puppies were born via C section on Saturday, December 28th. Remi and her 2 puppies are doing great!

What have the puppies been up to their first 4 days?

💙 The puppies spend all their time eating and sleeping. Remi does an amazing job feeding and cleaning her pups!
🩷 ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) started yesterday and will continue until the puppies are 16 days old
💙 ESI (Early Scent Introduction) started yesterday. Puppies' noses have been exposed to cinnamon and rabbit fur so far! 12 more scents to go...
🩷 First trip to the vet on Monday. Dew claws removed✔️

Meet Mr. Red ♥️
He is a happy, confident and curious puppy! Mr. Red absolutely loves exploring new places and playing with new toys. This guy needs a family that will bring him on lots of adventures - walks, stores, car rides, hiking, camping - he'll be game! He is the biggest puppy with the whitest coat in the litter. He'll be a head-turner for sure 😍

What the puppies been up to?

💙 The puppies have an expanded play area with lots of new toys!
❤️ Deworming #1 ✔️
🤍 More mush, less nursing. Puppies nurse 3 times a day and eat mush 2 times a day this week.
💙 Nails trimmed (again!)
❤️ They're catching on to potty training on their trays!
🤍 The puppies are more vocal and playful 💕
💙 Daily handling exercises continue!

🎉3 weeks old!🎉

So much is new with the puppies!

♥️ The puppies are done with ENS and ESI. Daily handling exercises have begun!
♥️They ate their first meal of mush today. They loved it 🥰
♥️The puppies moved into new whelping pens. They now have beds, toys and potty trays.
♥️Puppies are able to sleep through the night without mama feeding them. (And now I get to move back to my own bed, woohoo!)
❤️ They can now hear! Fun fact - dogs can hear 4 times better than humans 🤯
❤️The puppies have graduated to the stand-up milk bar (see photo if you're confused, lol!) 🐄

JoJo continues to raise the 3 puppies that weren't gaining enough weight the first few days. Mr. Red is in her care and is now the largest of all the golden retrievers! She's been a lifesaver 💕
