Spring Willow Kennel My name is Laurie Owen and we are hobby breeders of basenjis All dogs live in the house, under foot and on the couch.

Located in NE Ohio, we welcome visitors to come meet the breed and see if basenjis are for you! We welcome visitors to come meet our dogs if you are considering adding a basenji to your family. We are involved in the sport of showing dogs in conformation events. We have also dabbled with other venues, such as herding and coursing.

We are going to place three of our older basenji girls to make room for our up and coming kids. One spayed female is available now and two will be available in eight weeks when we wean their puppies. They are great producers and deserve to have a loving person, and a couch of their own. One of them is the grandmother of this year’s national best of winners and also the mother of this year’s national best bred-by exhibitor and reserve winners bitch. The other was a National Specialty AOM winner and Top 20 contender. The ideal home would be an experienced basenji home where these kids could be an only dog or possibly with a male.
