My name is Laurie Owen and we are hobby breeders of basenjis All dogs live in the house, under foot and on the couch.

Located in NE Ohio, we welcome visitors to come meet the breed and see if basenjis are for you! We welcome visitors to come meet our dogs if you are considering adding a basenji to your family. We are involved in the sport of showing dogs in conformation events. We have also dabbled with other venues, such as herding and coursing.

Hi I'm Flopsy.

I'm a 6 month old boy, outgoing but aloof till I get to know you and love giving kisses. I like my toys and mom says I'm mostly good in my crate and enjoy walks. I'm a fast learner and am very active.

Mom says I'm very pretty and could be in the show ring like my brothers, but I'm not sure it would be my thing. I think I'd like something like Agility or Rally better, just something to do with my favorite person.

Please let my mom's know if you'd like to meet me.

We had a great time at the New Castle, PA Memorial Day Weekend shows. We were only there 3 of the days but Spring Willow had dogs showing all 5 days. Punk was BOB X2, Vivian BOB x2, Gigi WB x4. Many thanks to the friends who came early and stayed late to help. Congrats to Addyson Blatt and Kelsie, you guys rocked the ring! You always do a fantastic job when I hand you a lead ♥️.

These 3 are looking for their forever homes.

They are 5 months old, completely upto date on vaccinations, including Rabies and are Microchiped.

Each of them have been crate and house trained. They have leash manners and do know some basic obedience.

Love cuddles and are quick learners as well as being self thinkers.

Heeeeeerrrrreeeee’ssss ♥️Poppy ♥️

We have decided to place our adult Rhodesian Ridgeback girl, Poppy. She’s an easy keeper, crate trained, house broken and get along with just about every dog she’s met. She is 4 years old, spayed and current on Vax. Loves to play, run in the back yard and nose around the house. She showed while, but it wasn’t her thing. Walks well on a lead, tolerant of nail trims and knows some basic commands. She would love a household with her very own human servants, less dogs and more attention.

Let’s talk nails. It is is pretty easy to do your dogs nails if you make it part of their weekly routine. I did this video the other morning before work. I have been doing it weekly since the puppies were about 2 weeks old.
