The following pet sitter prices will go into effect January 1, 2024
Payment for services due by drop off or on first drop in visit

Dog Boarding
$35/day/dog or $40/day/dog for major holidays DIscounted day care charge will be added for extra length of stay Ex: drop off Friday 8am and pick up Sunday 9pm would be 2 nights + Day care charge ($10/4-6hours $15/6-9 hours $20/9+ hours)

Cat Boarding
$20/day/cat or $25/day/cat for holidays/spring break
Other small animal (birds, reptiles, rodents, etc)
$10/day or $15 for holidays/spring break

Drop in visits/Walks
$20/15-20 min visit or $25/visit for holidays/spring break

Doggie day care
Mon-Fri $15/dog/half days (up to 5 hours) or $25/dog/full day (5+ hours)

You may drop off a pet up to 15 min early without approved advance notice. I am often in and out of my house and may not be here outside of that time frame. Dropping off early unannounced may result in a early drop off fee, if I am able to take them in at that time.

You may drop off a pet up to 15 min after your scheduled start time. Anything later and it will need to be rescheduled pending availibility. Please be aware I may not have anything availible before your next regularly scheduled appointment.

3 no call/no shows in a 6 month period will forfeit your spot on my schedule. If you have a scheduling conflict please let me know ASAP as I can usually find someone to switch with you with given enough notice.

Attention Please
As of January 1, 2023 I will no longer be accepting full grooming (haircut) appointments outside of my rotating schedule

I cannot accept any full groom appointments outside of this schedule as being constantly overbooked is taking its toll. I will have specific days to allow for extra nail trim or bath only appointments. Grooming appointments may be requested if you are going to board your dog(s) but they must be approved before drop off (preferably during booking so I have as much notice as possible) and are not likely for last minute bookings, holiday weeks, or short stays. Baths and nail trims may be requested at drop off as usual though advanced notice is appreciated. As much as I love all your pets, I simply need to cut my workload to what I originally inteded so I am not drained of my passion for grooming altogether. Thank you for understanding.

As I am getting several requests, my boarding is currently booked for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I do have a waitlist for both. I have a couple drop ins spots available for those interested. The holiday drop in rates are $20/15-20min visit (running the Saturday before Thanksgiving-Sunday after and Dec 20th-30). Any days outside of this will still be at the normal $15/15-20min visit (with the exception of other major holidays). Drop in schedules are as follows:

2 Drop in estimated schedule (every 12 hours)
visits will be between 8am-10am and 8pm-10pm

3 Drop in estimated schedule
8-9am, 2-3pm, 9-10pm

4 Drop in estimated schedule (schedule times vary on actual holidays to accommodate my family time)
8-8:30am. 12-1pm, 5-5:30pm, 9:30-10pm

Hey everyone. I am back from vacation, but had a pretty rough weekend so just now getting through all my messages. You will hear back from me sometime in the next couple days if you messaged while I was away. Day care will resume this week. My summer boarding slots are about full and I already have spots filling up for thanksgiving/Christmas so if you need boarding please send your requests and I will see if i have room. Thanks.

Hello just a reminder my new prices are in effect as of yesterday. Also please let me know if you would like reminders for appointments and I can add you to my list. I am allowing a 15 minute grace period to get your pups here for their appointments and after that I will have to assume you are not coming and will message me to reschedule. I will no longer be sending out the "hey just seeing if you are on the way" messages 10 min after start time because I have found that it just serves as a late reminder and I end up with people who are rushing to get their dogs here. This is not directed at anyone in particular, but I just have a tight schedule and I cannot afford to have to play catch up all day. I only have 1 drying cage so I need to make sure it's available when needed. Thank you for understanding.

Hello, after scheduling and rescheduling twice due to covid it looks like our Alaska Cruise is finally going to happen. So just a heads up I will be out of town from the evening of May 27th-afternoon of June 12th. Though someone will be here to care for my dogs, there will be no day care/boarding during those weeks and I will remind everyone who comes daily/weekly individually closer to. Thank you to those who moved their appointments up a week early or postponed a week to allow me to go on this fun vacation. If you have first/second Friday of the month appointment I will let you know options when I see you in May.

I am coming up on my 2 year anniversary and with the inflation of the prices throughout the US it is time for me to raise my own. I was blessed to make it this far without a price increase and I realize this may lead some of you to find somewhere else to go, but I do hope that everyone will stay with me. The following prices will go into effect May 9th, 2022

Dog Boarding- $30/day/dog. $35/day/dog for major holiday weeks (Easter weekend Thursday before-Tuesday after, Thanksgiving week Saturday before-Sunday after, Christmas week Dec 20-Dec 30) Drop off/Pick up hours run from 8am-9pm. Early drop off $10 extra and must be approved as I drops kids off at school. I will not accept dogs before 7am. . Things are getting back to normal around here. Starsky has been keeping me busy all morning playing fetch, but looks like he's finally ready to nap and maybe we will finally unpack.

Its almost March and many of you are about to shave your dogs for the summer. It is a misconception that shaving will help keep a dog cool on hot days. Dogs that shed should never be shaved (labs, huskies, shepherds, golden retrievers)and many groomers will refuse to do it. Shaving a double-coat can also do long-term damage. When it is shaved down to the skin, the undercoat will grow much faster, and sometimes will crowd out the slower-growing guard hairs. This can change the texture and color of a dog's coat and make it appear patchy and unattractive and also get matted.
Shaving also prevents cool air from getting to the skin, because the undercoat is still present. And a shaved coat doesn't protect against the sun either, which exposes your dog to greater risks of overheating, sunburn and even skin cancer. Another common misconception is that shaving will prevent shedding and allergies, in reality the shed hairs will be smaller and more prickly. So what should you do about a double coated dog that's about to shed extra for the summer? Request a deshed treatment and/or take a little length off. It won't stop all the shedding after one treatment. But it will slowly over a few months if done regularly. So please, before you ask for your dog to be shaved consider the facts. Thanks for reading

Hello everyone! The time has come and my rotating grooming schedule is officially full!! Its a good problem to have but it means at this time I am no longer accepting new grooming customers. If you are on a schedule or we have talked about getting you on one you are good to go and your spot is saved. I will have some floating appointments available for anyone I have seen in the past who did not get on a schedule but they may have a 6-8 week wait depending on where I am at in the rotation. As always I can always find time for nail trims and can usually squeeze in baths with light trimming (paws, haunches, etc). Thank you to everyone and the 250+ dogs I have seen over the last year that have made my business a success!

As summer approaches and more people will be getting their dogs groomed more regularly i would again like to encourage everyone to get on a set schedule with me. Some of you have noticed it's already hard to find an appointment and that's because I have a lot of pups that are on a rotating schedule, some every 2 weeks, so it really books me up quickly. I have been asked why I dont work weekends and really I do as weekends are when I have more boarding dogs and some of them get bathed and groomed before they go home. The rest is my family time. I offer every 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12 week schedules and I have some doing like first Thursday or Friday of the month etc...if you want to set something up let me know and I get you all ready. You can do this for grooming, bathing, or nail trims. Thanks!
