Are you passionate about working with dogs? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Kennel Tech to join our team! If you love caring for dogs and ensuring their comfort, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**Responsibilities:**
- Caring for and supervising dogs
- Maintaining a clean and safe kennel environment
- Reception work such as scheduling appointments and reservations

**Qualifications:**
- Must love dogs and have a passion for their well-being
- Previous experience in a kennel or animal care setting is a plus
- MUST be available on Sundays and be able to work full-time hours.

Hey y’all ! It’s Carrie. Did you know we offer Day Boarding for dogs? Well, we do!

All 4 of mine are day boarding today while our house gets a new roof. All those noises can be scary for dogs, especially since their hearing is so much better than ours.

So, if you’re house is getting a new roof or you have workers around the house after all this severe weather we’ve had, consider day boarding the fur kids.

We just love our clients and the amazing stories they share with us about their pets! Meet our client Colton Walls and his beautiful girl Maia! Colton was serving in Romania as a black hawk helicopter pilot at the U.S. military base at Mihail Kogalniceau (MK) when Maia wandered onto the base and decided Colton was her human, following him everywhere. Colton decided he just could not leave Romania without her, and the “happily ever after” is that Maia did come home with Colton in 2021!

She is a beautiful and sweet girl! Thank you, Colton, for your service, and a special thank you for rescuing Maia in Romania!

I’ve been reading some stories from other groomers about dogs suffering heat stroke from hot blow dryers. I would like everyone to know that we use COOL air only blow dryers and we keep all kennel areas here at Twin Lakes cool (not limited to, but especially during the summer months). We pay very close attention to how pets behave and do not hesitate to contact a parent if we feel like their pet is “off” to get permission to have them seen by one of our clinic veterinarians. Their health and well being is always our top priority!

With the weather warming up, the fleas and mosquitos will soon be making their return. Now is the time to make sure your dog is on both heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. Cats should also be on flea prevention.
Our Spa does offer flea relief packages including a Capstar pill, all natural flea shampoo, and a one month supply of Frontline Plus. These packages start at $35 and are in addition to the cost of a bath or groom.

Please contact your veterinarian for more information regarding the proper heartworm and/or flea prevention for your pet.
