All of our horses go through a rigorous training and testing program, in which they're entire foundation is reviewed, they are exposed to all kinds of riding, in the arena, on the ranch, on trail, on the streets, with little kids riding them and experienced adults.

They are desensitized extensively and examined by a vet for health and lameness. We only offer horses that pass the vet exam, pass all of our temperament tests, and are proven to be gentle, sound, solid equine citizens.

With physical locations in north Texas, southern California, and Hawaii, we can offer quality horses anywhere in the US with low-cost shipping options.

Chantemar is a 10yr old Spotted Draft mare with the WOW factor! She is stunningly beautiful with a striking paint pattern! This is a BIG horse at about 16-16.1h tall and thick as a tank!!

She is a kind and gentle horse that is easy to handle on the ground with no bad habits. You can bathe, clip, haul, tie, lead, and tack her up with ease and she is good with the farrier.

Take this big beauty out for a trail ride, she is a doll! She goes down the path quietly with no spook. She can go alone or with others and be anywhere in the herd. She's surefooted and happy-go-lucky.You'll love her!

We've been increasing her arena skills and she is coming along great! She is riding on contact, working circles, and increasing shoulder control. We have started her on basic dressage movements as well. Once she learns something, it stays with her and she doesn't forget. She will do a slow, western jog or an animated trot with lots of action! She has a great, willing attitude about everything and no marishish or opposing "opinions"!

Upon careful consideration of the current COVID-19 status, Rancho Bravo will not host group horseback rides through March and April. We fully understand and respect the attempts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and with participation from visitors coming from many states as well as out of the country, we at Rancho Bravo feel it is prudent to follow and respect the guidelines set forth at this time by the CDC. We do not want to do anything to jeopardize the health of our customers, employees or community and have given this matter long and thoughtful consideration. Introducing Captain, a 12 year old tank of a gelding. Standing at about 14.3 hands tall with a nice stout build. This boy is a great trail horse and will be sure not to spill your beer while doin it 😉

Gorgeous Buckskin available!

Want a stout, gorgeous horse that shines like gold? Meet Sadie, a 10yr old sooty buckskin mare! She stands just under 15h tall, but she's so thick and well-made that you'll think she's 15.2! Pictures do not do this girl justice, she is GORGEOUS!! Her buckskin coat SHINES in the sun and the contrast against her black points is just stunning. You will look GOOD on this horse!

Sadie is a solid trail horse with a forward pace that has done many obstacles and would be a really fun play day or gymkhana horse.
