This week is National Vet Tech week and we couldn’t be more proud of our fabulous ladies, Marissa and Ileana. These ladies work tirelessly to provide loving care for each and every patient we see. The veterinary field isn’t for wimps and it takes special skills that not many people possess. We are proud to have two of the best. Brody needs a forever home!
This handsome boy is Brody. He is believed to be a Schnoodle (Standard Poodle and Schnauzer mix). He weighs 56lbs. Brody was in a sad domestic situation where he wasn’t safe, so immediate action was taken to help him. His foster family is one of our staff members and they can attest to his wonderful disposition. Brody is both goofy and joyful. He loves to play! He LOVES other dogs and gets along great with cats. He is crate trained and hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home. Brody is estimated to be between 3-4 years old and has been fully vaccinated at our clinic. He needs a fenced backyard and a family that will allow him to be inside dog. Brody is healthy, however he does have a mild skin allergy that we are currently treating. Brody has been fully vaccinated and is neutered. We have no doubt that anyone who meets him will fall in love with his wonderful personality.

Hi! My name is Abby and I am your new best friend! I am a gorgeous, petite (only 31lbs) Aussie mix that Dr. Sammons says is approximately 9 months old. I will keep you entertained with my silly shenanigans such as chasing my non existent tail and nose diving into your lap. I will also help you stay youthful and healthy by going on walks with you and doing anything outdoors-like playing NASCAR in the backyard! And if you have other fur children, even better! I LOVE other dogs and cats! And if you have any of those two legged kind, I will smother them with lots of Abby kisses! I get along with anything you have living under your roof! I just request one thing. Toys. Lots of them. I love them! We can go shopping together to pick some out. Now, you may be thinking, “If Abby is so great, why does she need a new home?”, because people can be mean and cruel. But thankfully I have had some angels come my way to save me, including Dr Sammons. I have been fully vetted and am ready to go to my forever home! Many of you may remember Missy. She was abandoned as a stray and brought into our hospital by one of our compassionate clients back in March. We quickly learned that she was pregnant and due to the shelters all being full, we offered to find her and her puppies homes. All five of her puppies found amazing homes, so now we are looking to find Missy her forever family. She has spent the last six weeks with our fabulous groomer so that we could learn more about her temperament and personality. Here is what we now know: She is great with other dogs. She loves to play and especially loves toys and treats. She also enjoys car rides! She walks good on a leash too. Missy really loves people and loves to give hugs. She is house trained. She would do best with other active dogs since she loves to play hard. Preferably no cats. Missy has alot of energy, so an active family would be best. She will require a fenced yard. She is eager to please and just wants to be loved. She is spayed and vaccinated. Missy is at our veterinary clinic if you would like to meet her. Please call us at 940-365-9384. Sad update. Our sweet Brisket. The dog our entire staff has came to love….we still haven’t found him a home. He is the sweetest boy who absolutely loves people. Aside from radiating absolute joy, he is totally housebroken and he loves water! He literally jumps at the opportunity to get a bath or jump in puddles! He is neutered and vaccinated. He was abandoned in a dog park and our fabulous groomer saved him from ending up in the wrong hands or in a shelter. He would do best in an active home where he can run outside to get his “wiggles” out. But, he does love being a couch potato too!
