This is a letter for my daughter and family to attend a mission trip in February. If you would like to donate we would be so appreciative. Thank you in advance!
Dear Friends and Family,
God has presented me with an opportunity to go on a mission trip in February 2025 to
Dominican Republic with Ambassador Learning Academy and Maranatha Volunteers
International.
The primary focus of this trip is to work on the construction of a church in a rural
mountain community. The local Dominican church group has been meeting under a tree
since 2001 and are excited and grateful that their dream of a place to worship is
becoming a reality. I am excited to be involved with the actual construction of the church
as well as the children's programs we will be conducting. The picture I have included
shows the frame that is waiting for us to complete.
My fellow classmates and I are excited to see God work in the lives of everyone we
minister to and I look forward to sharing stories with you when I return.
Because we are stepping out in faith and committing to a mission trip that begins on February 21st, we have limited time to fundraise. The cost for this trip is $1750. This cost
includes airfare, housing, insurance, food, local transportation, and supplies. I am
stepping out in faith and trusting that the Lord will provide the necessary money to make
this trip a reality. I will be participating in various fundraisers and working hard to earn
money for this project but I am also asking donors to sponsor this trip since we have a
short window until this opportunity takes place.
I have personally committed to raise $1500 for this trip as soon as possible! If you would like
to partner with us and support this valuable project you can help in different ways. (Non-
