You’re looking at a newly minted novice pony! Sinchow had a super professional move-up at this past Saturday at Poplar. He scored a 27 in the dressage and had beautiful jumping phases with just a rail added and a little time on XC. We were definitely taking it slow with the mud and beat up ground from people schooling the day before. Despite the ground and it being a move-up, Sinchow had his most confident XC run ever!! Didn’t hesitate to anything. I’m so proud of the horse he’s maturing into. Can’t wait for the next ❤️ (video recap coming soon🥰)

Surreal to think that this month I’ve had this special horse for 4 years… I’m so ready for a fun 2024 with my Sinchow. His 8 year old year is going to be full of new adventures. We didn’t do all the huge things I thought we would by this point, but he has kept me loving horses and reminding me why I do this sport through the last few years of managing a farm and dealing with many not so great horses. I’m so proud of this horse I’ve made and thankful for the horse woman he’s made me. My perfect Grey Street🤍

Take time to recognize and be grateful for the people and things that support you. My horse, my boyfriend, and Layla are my core little family that I push myself for every day. The incredible staff at my farm lets me have a life outside of the barn. They don’t understand how much I appreciate everything they do. I’m grateful for my friend and co-worker Vanessa who pushes me to keep going and gives me advice where I need it. Ani who lets me vent and let’s me talk out my thoughts on riding and vet things. My mom who puts up with my endless texts always telling her how perfect Sinchow is🤣 My student Silvia and her mom Rene always trusting me and supporting me. And so many more. It’s hard to build a community as a 23 year old equine professional in a college town, but I’m grateful for mine. Sometimes I just need a photo like this to remind me🤍

The canter we could ride all day ✨

Developing young horses can be difficult but it’s so rewarding. Vinny made it easy. Safe and sane, he’s fun for us pros to ride but can canter cross rails with a kiddo too. Can’t wait to find him his perfect person🤍

I could not be more grateful for this creature. He’s been with me through my highest of highs and lowest of lows. From 3 and 20 to 7 and 23, I’m so excited for more years of growth together. I always said I would eventually sell him or that I should have already sold him, but this horse heals my soul. Be grateful for your ponies each and every day, because it’s a privilege to share a life with them 🤍
