We have a couple of openings for full care stall board at our newly renovated facility in Auburn, AL
Come join our barn family and enjoy 35 acres of pasture, multiple wooden fenced paddocks, a large riding arena that we drag daily, and 12x12 matted stalls. 1-2 immediate positions available at our farm. There are a couple of different options.

1-2 chore shift people AM and PM including some weekends. This can be a full time position for one, or part time position for 2.

OR a working student or full time farmhand with housing included. Several different options available here to include boarding , lessons, showing, ect.

Heath is a 13.1 and 3/4hh, 7 year old gelding . He has a fantastic brain and is suitable for an advanced beginner at this time due to needing more miles. He has been lightly started over fences showing to be brave and willing. He has a change, but it is not auto at this time. I feel with more consistency and muscle, an easy change will be there. He has been off property once so far and was a gentleman. He loads like a champ, clips with a little bit of reassurance, and will stand tied for days. Health has no bad habits, currently barefoot, and fat on air. He is located in Auburn, AL and is in the mid/high fours.

Let your child have a bad ride.
I know you want to protect them from the hardships of this world.
I know you want to give them success and good experiences.
I know you don't want to see them get hurt. To see them fall. To see them fail.
But, hear me out, let your child have a bad ride.

Let them cry the tears of frustration.
Let them shake the sand out from the inside of their riding pants.
Let them face the fear building inside of them.
Let them step back on again.

Yes, let your child have a bad ride.
Let them hate the horse that challenges them.
Let them learn what fight and passion and ambition mean.
Let them realize that when they refuse to quit the horse will take the time to listen.

Grant them the joy of realizing that they are connecting with another living being.
Grant them the joy of realizing that they, although they are small, can be powerful.
Grant them the joy of seeing their hard work pay off, through the days of tears can come a love unspeakable.

Yes, let your child have a bad ride.
Afterall, life will grant us plenty of them.

Here at DTM we have been having some problems. GREAT problems! We have had so many new lesson students and not enough ponies! Introducing the newest addition to our lesson program, “Southern Charm.” Charm has been shown extensively in the hunter ring and holds many year end championship titles. We are so excited to have the opportunity to have such a gem in our barn.
