Lisa Yunt Dog Sitting began because Lisa kept bringing rescue dogs home. Both Lisa and Sean are dog lovers and have owned a combined total of 11 dogs and are familiar with several dog breeds. We have a Bernese Mountain Dog, Ernie (4), and a Havanese, Gucci (11). We are home most of the time, have a fully-fenced backyard, and only watch a couple of dogs at a time so we can be sure to give your dog
the full attention deserved! Your dog will be treated like family. Unless you prefer otherwise, your dogs are welcome on our furniture (our couches are old and roughed up) and will be with us throughout the day. Your dog will not be crated unless you want us to. Many of our dog friends sleep in our beds or on the floor next to us. We know that while traveling is fun, missing your dogs is tough. We will send regular text updates and photographs if requested. We find that most dogs are comfortable eating their regular food. It isn't uncommon for a dog to have tummy issues when their owners leave the first couple days so having their regular food can help. Please consider bringing food, bowls, and bedding. We also ask that you leave your dog's leash so we can go on walks or work with your dog if we need to leave the house for any reason. *No retractable leashes, please. Our dogs have food and water available to them 24/7. Please note that your dog will likely eat some of our dog food. Please be sure to let us know about any allergies! We will be sure your dog has time to consume their meals and will be fed in a different room than our own dogs if necessary. All new dog friends must complete a meet and greet prior to their first stay. It is important that we know you and your dog well so we can offer the best-customized care. We are honored that you are considering us to take care of your dog and we look forward to hearing from you soon. Licensed and insured
