Amos!!!!
Amos=love!!
This boy is exactly that.
He’s such a happy boy. He loves people, other dogs, good with cats.
His smile is contagious and his joy for life is sure to make you smile even bigger….
As a parvo survivor he has so many reasons to be so happy to still be around, now he just needs that forever family!!
Amos is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and just over a year old now.

Henry…
We’re on the way to see the vet. This boy looks to have been through the wringer and somehow his tail is just wagging and he’s just a sweetie ready to make us all feel better.
We don’t know exactly yet what’s going on with his feet…but we know these bumps can’t be comfortable. He’s got some wheezing going on and he seems very round. He needs help, we’re here to do the physical part but we could really use the help with donations toward helping him.
Seems right now every dog needing help, needs lots of help….

I’ve seen several local post looking for kittens!!
I’m here to assure you they’re around and we have lots just eager to be in their new forever homes.
We have females/males separated for the time being while we work through getting everyone fixed (spay/neuters are included in their adoption fees), all have received their first vaccines, been dewormed, will be microchipped.
Come get you a kitten….and help them break free of their cages while they wait for their spays or neuters.
I don’t think we have a single one that’s not a complet love bug.

She doesn’t know her name but seems fitting since she was likely born in 1932.
Wandering around all alone. So here she will spend her remaining time getting spoiled and just doing old lady things.

How does a whole family of westies end up as strays, in this shape???!!!
I’ll leave my opinions off fb but…here we are, a momma westie, a daddy/grandpa westie, and puppy westie went to the vet today.
Alll have skin infections-no surprise there considering they were covered in fleas. Momma has ear indections-she’s likely had for a loooonnnnggg time. Daddy had eye infections and will require eye medications for the rest of his life.
We’ll know their bloodwork results in the morning as well as their heartworm status.
The vet staff picked their names for us today

Mommy- Martha
Baby-Genevieve
I do not know yet when they’ll be ready for adoption, it is a process and depending on what they need is the factor as to when they’ll be ready.

Ladybug…
She may not be fluffy but she’s cute as a button.
This girl is such a little love. She’s such a loyal little girl. She will stick by your side always.
She is dog friendly and she adores cats. She’s pretty calm for the most part and loves just hanging out and being told what a pretty and good girl she is…her tail goes crazy. She will play fetch but mostly just enjoys hanging out with her favorite people.
Ladybug is spayed, heartworm negative, vaccinated, 18lbs and ready for her new family.

Travis…
Travis is a more reserved kind of boy. He loves his people big in typical schnauzer fashion…strangers are chopped liver in his eyes.
He would love a calm home, with his favorite people. Maybe a few car rides here there and a few several many treats-boy loves his treats.
He’s the perfect schnauzer boy. If you know, you know.
He’s about 4/5 yo. Neutered. Heartworm negative. Microchipped.

Taylor….
Yes we still have her. We tried to keep her and Travis together but…that’s not working out. But the good news is now that they have completely showed us their personalities and opened up all the way…they don’t need each other. They had simply formed a pack while they spent a month roaming phenix city. No they’re not feralish🤣 in fact Taylor is a happy, friendly, lovable, playful, good girl. She is a pretty well rounded girl. She is great with all other dogs and loves to play.
Taylor is a schnoodle (schnauzer poodle mix), 3ish years old. Dog friendly, cat friendly but the cat must enjoy dog friends or she may bug them. She is very kid friendly.
She is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped and ready to get on with forever.
She does have a not typical schnoodle groom at the moment, as it’s just easier to keep her short here for now but she certainly cleans up into a gorgeous little girl💗

Many have asked how they can help Nigel. Nigel would love to stock up on this food, he’s been eating strictly this wet food (5 cans a day) and he seems to be feeling better the last several days. He can not digest hard foods, and he has skin allergies. If anyone would be so kind to help send him some….we need lots as 5 cans a day goes quick.
We also have zorro, another kitty baby who struggles with food allergies and has been on the kitty version for several weeks now, thankfully he doesn’t require as much food as Nigel.
I have only been able to find it at Walmart. If you’d like to send either one some we would greatly appreciate it.

Let our sweet Johnny boy cross the rainbow bridge this morning. This all came on so fast and sadly with kidney failure it was just gonna get worse, and he’s already so tired and not eating so while he still had some dignity we gave him peace💔
Me and Haley Mckown both sat and loved on him as he closed his eyes.
Johnnys family didn’t love him enough to do anything right by him but I promise you this boy knows he’s been loved the last two years of life.
Rest easy big guy!!
Many don’t realize the extent we go for each and every single one of our rescues. They are not just another, they become our family, part of this woof pack. Johnny was no different. No one ever came for him, so we loved him big and he knew we were his family and he was home until….
We will love you always big guy!!!

Sweet Bandit…
This adorable little black guy is so ready for a lap all his own. He just loves all the full body massages and just goes into a literal trance.
Outside of your lap he’s very laid back and d reserved and just minds his own. Loves napping.
Bandit is about 4.5 months old. Vaccinated, microchipped and will be neutered through adoption.

Goose and Maverick…
These boys have healed alllll the way up, grown their fur back a good bit and THE BEST boys around.
We’re all completely smitten with them.
But they’re ready…for a family and some fun adventures with the safety of their family to look after them…no more adventures on their own, they proved they are not equipped for that.
Both are neutered, heartworm negative, vaccinated, have had bloodwork done, microchipped, and ready for life’s new adventure for them.
They are bonded, very bonded.

The reality…
There are SO MANY more dogs like Isiah (the black dog) that need your shares, support!!! Than dogs like Buttons. Don’t get me wrong…both deserve amazing happy homes…but we’ve had nearly 25 applications come through for Buttons, and nothing absolutely nothing for Isiah-he barely had people eve share his post and let me tell you, while buttons is a fantastic boy..SO IS ISIAH. 😞
This is also the reality why when people reach out for help with little dogs, we can help more…cause they’re moving out opening up space for the next.
Big dogs, very rarely are we able to help lately…no one is even sharing their post😞
SHARE THE BIG or BLACK babies too!!! They’re equally as deserving!!

Dolly….
Dolly has been with us in rescue for 2 years!!! For no good reason!!!! She’s a wonderful, well adjusted, smart, lovable, medium size girl who would make someone the best girl!!!!💗
She’s only 35-40lbs, she loves food and sometimes we have to cut her back🤣
She’s so smart and I bet if someone spent any time teaching her she could learn all sorts of fun stuff. She loves adventure.
Dolly is simply put amazing. Her only flaw is she wants to chase cats.

Well we’ve done it again….
This little family was found a strays. Their stray hold was up, and no one ever came for them.
The shape and health they’re in does not help their chances of making it out of animal control. These babies are in pretty rough shape. We believe there’s mama, daddy, and one of their puppies. Mama could possibly be pregnant🫣
Daddy definitely has signs of possible thyroid issues-judging by his missing hair. The puppy looks to have already had babies too. Skin infections for sure, mama and daddy will 100% need dentals…all will need bloodwork.
As many already know, we’re a bit overwhelmed with all the request to help…and we certainly do our best to help as many as we can but in order to help them, we rely on our community and supporters to help us help them.
This little family stood little to no chance of making it out of animal control which is busting at the seems too and having to make choices daily.
Please if you can help us help them.

Meet Hoss…
The sweetest kitten you will EVER meet!!!
He’s SO SUPER snuggly, So snuggly. He loves attention and the second you even look his way, he starts purring knowing the pets are coming.
He’s about 14 weeks old. Vaccinated, already neutered and simply just needs a loving family who wants a baby to snuggle with 24/7.

We’re aware…he’s to die for!!
This adorable boy came to us after his human passed sway and he was left in his home mostly alone. Family came by to check on him and ensure he was fed and what not. However, he was lonely and we just couldn’t leave him like that.
Buttons just turned a year old in march. He now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped…and ready for his new family.
Buttons is a big boy for a pekingnese…just more to love, he’s very playful and so super sweet and snuggly too. He is dog and cat friendly. Well he’s just very friendly.

Meet Luna…
As some already know, we have a big soft spot for Pyrenees..
This girl was at risk of losing her life any moment when she was owner surrendered to a high kill shelter.
She was surrendered to no fault of her own, she just grew too big for her humans. She is a big girl nearly 80lbs. However, you can tell she they were very good to her, it shows in her demeanor. She is an absolute and complete sweetheart and so confused why she’s not with her family anymore.
She is only 1 year old, already spayed, vaccinated and ready for a home who can handle a gentle big girl. She just melts into you.

Ohhh this girl is 110% all puppy!!! She’s an older puppy but she’s got all the puppy energy.

Meet Brandy #2…

Brandy came to us with her mama dog Penny. We knew we had to wait for Penny to go first, and then it would be miss brandys turn…as Penny would have been sad seeing brandy leave her, but doesnt mind leaving brandy and brandy could care less…she just makes a new friend or 10.

Meet Lady Bug…
Our sweet little girl is ready to start the search for forever!!!!
Ladybug came to us along with 11cats and another dog. She grew up in a home as 1 of several many.
She is a beagle mix of some kind. She’s 1-2 years old. She can be shy with new people but once she agrees you’re a friend, it’s a really big like.
Ladybug is dog and cat friendly, her best friend was a cat. She prefers dogs her size or smaller but can and will warm up to bigger dogs. She makes an excellent watch dog-not guard dog, just watch dog…she will alert you well when something is out of the ordinary.
She is heartworm negative, now spayed, vaccinated, been dewormed and flea meds and all the good stuff.
